Hi all,
I figured that I'd make a rec post of things I really, REALLY loved during Yuletide this year because this has been one of my favorite Yuletides yet and I've found that there was a large number of fic this year that I've absolutely loved, so here you go!
First off, I'm going to start with the FIVE (!!!!) wonderful, amazing, magnificent gifts I got. I can't even believe how lucky I've been to receive that many REALLY FUCKING GREAT stories this year. I'm absolutely floored at how great each and every one of these stories is, and I'm especially impressed with the incredible quality of the fic I got this year, considering how little time my lovely writers all had to write them (I was a Dec 23 pinch hit). All of these are SLIGHTLY annotated with why I loved each of these stories. I also reserve the right to add to this post as I think of more stories I really, really loved.

Other recs, in no particular order:

I hope some of you end up reading a few of these fic, but even the other fic that I've read in all of these fandoms were AMAZING. You really can't go wrong with any of them. (Full disclosure, I read a lot of the other fic in those fandoms, but I definitely did not read all of it because there were just too many for some fandoms)
If you're not a Yuletide-r and this is the first time you're seeing any kind of fic posted for it, I hope one or more of these fandoms are to your taste and that you enjoy reading one or more of these.

Currently very much into: a lot of TV, including Brooklyn Nine Nine, Arrow, Parks and Recreation, Castle, The Flash, and Elementary.

This is my 999th entry and I am fully dedicating it to So You Think You Can Dance.
Because this is my favorite season I've ever watched, and because I've never been this invested in SYTYCD, I've decided to make a compilation of my very favorite routines. I have a top 15 for couple routines and a top 5 each for group routines and for solos. I hope this may inspire one or two non-SYTYCD watchers to watch a few of my favorite routines and give this show that is pure joy and wonderfulness a chance at some point, and I hope that some of those of you who do watch agree with me on at least a few of these and can enjoy some of your favorite routines again, too!

Wow, this took forever. Sorry to the 98% of you who don't care about this, my next entry is my 1000th and it will be all about YOU. I think? I'm not entirely sure yet, but I want it to be special somehow.
I'm also keeping this public for at least a little while in case any of my non-LJ friends want to have a look.

I don't want to call it friends cut because it's really not. If I've spoken to you at least once in the last 4-6 months and/or you've updated your journal in that time, you're definitely still here.
However, if you haven't been around in half a year or a year (or longer) and have never commented (and I don't talk to you somewhere else), I might have removed you, just to make the friends list on my profile less cluttered with inactive journals. Check if you can see this entry if you think one of these applies to you (but chances are, you won't even read this if I cut you. :P )
