General view

SomePDF Image Extract is a handy application that allows you to extract images from PDF files very easily without the need of having Adobe Reader installed. It has the ability to extract images and save them in the following formats: TIF, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, TGA, PBM, PPM, and PCX. The program also supports encrypted PDF files, drag&drop, PDF1.6 protocol, and JPEG Quality and JPEG Gray Scale adjust. It also is capable of extracting multiple files at a time, thus saving you tremendous valuable time. You can also select the page range (all document, begin page and end page), open results, and the output directory and mode (format, quality, and gray scale). The resulting images are saved in the folder specified by you, and the latter is opened as soon as the extraction is finished. The interface is extremely simple and straightforward and does not include any complex options. It would be great if the program includes a previewer to select the files to extract. It supports Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 Server/Vista.
