SolutionView Tablet simplifies, standardizes, and maximizes each sales and service appointment. Features Homeowner Education - SolutionView Tablet helps walk the customer through the causes of their problems, so they can understand why you’re recommending the full suite of solutions your company offers. Automated Solutions - When you ask questions like, “Are you interested adding a rain sensor to your system?” and the customer says, “Sure!” - Your company’s preferred rain sensor is automatically added to the Options Page. Findings - Once the inspection is complete, the findings section helps the user share with the customer all that they’ve found, the cause, and what solutions are needed. SolutionView Tablet makes it easy for a customer to express interest in solutions, and lets them add them to the options page without commitment to purchasing. Here’s what’s new in version 2.4.8: Appointments Customer History: Customer History now includes additional customer details from appointment data connected through improveit 360, giving users more context when preparing for and running appointments. A new bucket icon appears in the drawing product list, allowing users to tap inside enclosed areas and automatically fill them with the selected product. After placement, users can still make adjustments. Continue Path: Line paths and wall paths can now be extended from the selected object. Select the object, open the object settings in the bottom left, choose More, then Continue to add additional vertices. Multi-Selection: Multi-Selection has received additional polish to make it clearer what is being selected while keeping only the most important elements in view. Long Press: Long press actions have been refined. Long pressing on a line now allows users to add additional vertices or delete previously placed vertices. AI Visualization Activation: Companies can now activate access to the AI Visualization tool. This tool will be free to use for a limited time. Please contact the SolutionView team for activation steps. Polish: We’ve continued improving the screens used for AI Visualization to provide a better overall experience. Additional Enhancements: We’ve continued improving several areas and screens throughout the app. Fixes We’ve continued monitoring errors captured through our reporting systems and have implemented fixes aimed at resolving issues identified in those systems. Thanks for using SolutionView Tablet. 2.4.8 1d ago Here’s what’s new in version 2.4.7 This update brings a cleaner navigation experience, clearer labels and toolbars, stronger presentation support, and several usability improvements throughout the app. We’ve also made it easier to work with drawings, areas, customer information, and key project details during the sales process. Navigation Enhancements Details & Resources We’ve reorganized navigation to make important tools easier to access. Findings and Notes have moved out of Quick Nav and into a new expandable Details & Resources section at the bottom of the main navigation. This section now includes Photos, Notes, Files, Resources, and AI recording shortcuts. Quick Nav Improvements With more room in Quick Nav, the drawing button now includes text as “View Drawing,” and the project goals form button can now be configured to display custom text such as Accomplish List. Inspection Enhancements Sub-Areas Forms can now be configured to use sub-areas only. When enabled, the primary form will guide users to create an area before continuing. We’ve also started simplifying terminology by replacing “sub-area” with “area” to make the experience more universal and easier to understand across different company workflows. Drawing Enhancements Styling We’ve updated the styling of tools across the top, side, and artwork toolbars to include clearer text labels and, in some cases, refreshed icons. Snap Tool Redesign The Snap Tool has been redesigned to be easier to find and use. It now features a more visible magnet-style icon and clearer feedback showing how far snapping will engage, whether that’s one inch, six inches, or one foot. Presentation Enhancements Theatre Mode Presentation titles are now displayed below the solution title during presentations for better visibility and context. Presentation Bottom Bar Updates There are two new buttons included at the bottom during a presentation. The View Drawing button now opens the new project drawing view, making it easier to review solutions and products visually during presentations. We’ve also added a Customer Why button so users can review the Customer Why at any point in the presentation. Solution Details and My Project have been removed from the presentation bottom bar. Findings Enhancements Details The label previously shown as Details has been renamed to Inspection to better reflect that this summary comes from the Inspection area of the app. Project Enhancements Project Drawing View Calculator Feature Fields within a form can now be configured to appear within a calculator view while working in the project drawing view. This helps teams display calculations or supporting field data that better explain what is happening with the customer’s property. Complete Enhancements Contact Info Customer contact information is now available in the Complete section for all users. It appears after Payment Details and before Documents, giving teams a better place to confirm the information that will appear on the proposal. Fixes and Improvements We fixed an issue that could cause loading loops when accessing previous appointments. We also resolved a problem where the keyboard could obscure parts of the customer referral window on mobile devices. In addition, we addressed several other issues identified through our reporting systems. Styling Enhancements Across the app, we’ve updated icons and UI elements to create a clearer and more consistent experience for teams using SolutionView Tablet. Thanks for choosing SolutionView. 2.4.7 Apr 6 Thanks for using SolutionView. Version 2.4.6 focuses on the day-to-day stuff that keeps appointments moving: better control over when signatures reset, smarter device storage management, and faster ways to validate changes before they roll out to the team. Here’s what’s new in version 2.4.6: Customer Signature Check Companies now have more control over when a customer signature is automatically removed if the project is modified after signing. This helps teams make changes without unintentionally forcing a re-sign, while still keeping signature rules aligned with how you run your process. Locally Stored Data To prevent storage issues over time, SolutionView will now automatically clear appointment media stored on the device that’s older than 90 days. Anything cleared can be re-downloaded later if you revisit the appointment, so your history is still there when you need it. If you ever want to clear stored media manually, you can now do that anytime from the menu in the bottom-right of the app. Manual Appointments We added additional sorting options in the Manual Appointments screen, making it easier to find what you’re looking for and keep work moving during busy days. Preview Mode Preview Mode no longer requires any setup. After logging in, you’ll find Preview Mode directly in the menu. Use it to validate changes and experience updates before they’re published to the rest of the team. Ability to Hide Primary Form For workflows that rely mostly on sub-areas, companies can now hide the primary form and guide teams directly into sub-area fields. This keeps inspections cleaner and helps reps stay focused on the details that matter in the field. Styling This release includes several design tweaks throughout SolutionView to keep the experience cleaner, clearer, and more consistent as you move through an appointment. As always, thanks for helping us keep raising the bar on the customer experience. 2.4.6 Mar 2 Here’s what’s new in version 2.4.5: Forms Fixed an issue where forms could jump back to the top after entering information in fields that use the keyboard. Now, when you finish an input, the form stays put so you can keep moving without losing your place. Presentation Improved the ‘Build Presentation’ experience by updating a few buttons to reduce mis-taps. Button targets are larger with better hit areas, so it’s easier to move through the flow cleanly while staying focused on the customer conversation. Drawing & Annotator General fixes and performance improvements to keep drawing and annotating faster and more efficient. As always, thanks for helping us keep raising the bar on the customer experience. 2.4.5 Feb 9 Here’s what’s new in version 2.4.4: Customer Why AI Summary: Customer Why can now use the on-device Apple intelligence model (LLM) to summarize the questions and answers you’ve mapped, and turn them into a clear, customer-ready “why.” You can edit the AI summary anytime to refine how you'll present it to a customer. UI Improvements: Customer Why now shows a shorter preview anywhere it appears, keeping the rest of the screen focused on the details that drive the appointment forward. If the full Customer Why is longer, you can tap it to view the entire message. Product Automation Markup Factor Enhancements for Estimation: Along with existing quantity-based markups, you can now apply a percent markup to product totals. This gives you another way to account for complexity, risk, and margin needs, and it can be used on its own or combined with quantity markups. These markups are configured at the form field level. Product Placement Tool Apple Pencil Accuracy: Fixed Apple Pencil drift in the drawing and product placement experience so artwork lands directly under the pencil tip. As always, thanks for helping us keep raising the bar on the customer experience. 2.4.4 Feb 5 This release of SolutionView includes enhancements within the appointment screen and contract PDF. Appointment Screen Scheduled Start and End: Within the appointment screen, we have improved the appointment time by including the end time in addition to the previously available start time. Contract PDF Solution Recommendations: Prior to this release, products that were removed from an accepted solution were not being included in the Solution Recommendations. Now, when a product is removed from a solution that has been accepted with other included products, the declined product will appear in the Solution Recommendations section in PDFs that include that block. Fixes & Tweaks Resolved issue with Contract PDF where blocks were overlapping Addressed issue with Calendar events rendering improperly in landscape Handled how solution cards remain selected or get unselected within the Add Form form field type Implemented other styling adjustments in various areas of the application 2.4.3 Jan 25 This release of SolutionView includes enhancements within the product placement tool used for drawings, as well as addresses feedback from the previous release. We’ve been focused on improving usability and strengthening the experience across the board, especially in the areas of customer signing, photo performance, and appointment handling. Here’s what’s new in version 2.3.25: Customer Signing Enhancements In rare cases, sales reps were returning to SolutionView after a customer had approved a project through the Customer Portal. When marking the appointment as sold and sending it to the cloud, the rep’s update would override the customer’s signature, causing confusion. This version addresses that. The app now checks the approval status directly from our servers, and if the customer has already signed, updates from the app are restricted to protect the signed documentation. Updated “Exit Meeting” Button To avoid any confusion, the button in the bottom right of the Complete Appointment screen now says “Exit Meeting” instead of “Complete.” If the appointment hasn’t been sent to the cloud yet, reps will be prompted before exiting if the appointment has not yet been sent to the cloud. Customer Support Functionality We’ve added behind-the-scenes support tools to help us troubleshoot more effectively when issues arise in the field. These improvements give our support team more visibility and allow us to resolve problems faster. AI Appointment Recording Integrations We’re starting to integrate with leading AI recording platforms, Rilla and Siro. If your organization has enabled this feature, you’ll now see a microphone icon in the appointment quick nav to launch the respective tool. Fixes - We’ve optimized how photo thumbnails load when viewing appointments. On some devices where many photos were present, memory issues were occasionally causing app instability. With this release, you should notice smoother performance even in photo-heavy appointments. - Resolved a configuration scenario where forms would duplicate in Findings - Resolved an issue with area titles in some situations causing issues - Resolved an issue where products that were added manually would be removed out of projects - Resolved an issue where extra signatures or initials would appear in the new Dynamic Custom PDFs - Resolved an issue in Appointment Resources when opening resources Styling Enhancements Our design team has continued polishing user-facing screens. Buttons, layout, and spacing have been refined to create a smoother, more consistent experience throughout the app. Thanks for using SolutionView - we’re always working to make your sales process better, faster, and more reliable. As always, if you have feedback, we’d love to hear from you. 2.3.25 07/01/2025 This includes a fix on the save to photos checkbox when adding photos. 2.3.24 06/09/2025 This contains two small updates. One was for when navigating to the project page when the side navigation is hidden and the other is for handling newly added inspection form checklist items. 2.3.23 06/05/2025 SolutionView 2.3.22 We’re back with a fresh update for SolutionView, and this one is all about boosting speed, improving integrations, and giving you even more control over your proposals. Speed Improvements Our team took on the challenge of making SolutionView faster in different areas of the app where at times users could feel a bit of lag. Notably, within Forms and the Project Comparison - the speeds should feel much snappier. Custom PDF Functionality Select between over 30 different section types to build your custom PDF layout. As you design your ideal layout, you can have the sections appear in your preferred order and within each section use the settings to drive how you want the content from each section to display. And good news—the tools to build and edit these custom PDFs will soon be available right inside SolutionView Admin. Dropdown Field Enhancement You'll notice as you use dropdowns within your appointments, there is a new stylized sheet. While the functionality stays the same, the look is now more aligned with the rest of the app, bringing a more cohesive and polished experience. Financing Details sent to HubSpot We've enhanced financing plans that are added to SolutionView to be mapped to a field within a company's CRM. When mapped to a field, the estimated payment details can be populated into the assigned field within the CRM. Tax Rate Integration from HubSpot to SolutionView Through CRM configuration, a company can now have the tax rates flow from the deal within HubSpot and applied to the project automatically. This feature is especially handy for teams working across multiple tax zones. Just make sure your accounting details has tax rate that is set to allow editable tax rates and is set to be added by default—after that, the configuration takes care of the rest. Thanks for using SolutionView. We’re always working behind the scenes to make it even better for you and your team. 2.3.22 06/02/2025 We addressed an issue when users were selecting data in the Contact Info within the Appointment Screen. 2.3.21 04/23/2025 The latest version of SolutionView is here, and it brings several major enhancements designed to elevate the experience for the teams who serve homeowners every day. When accessing an appointment from the calendar, all familiar tools remain on the left side of the screen, while a new right-hand panel displays a summarized view of customer activity. Dive deeper into notes, photos, files, and event history—all in one place. For companies not utilizing the supported CRMs, the tabs will include the details from the existing appointment. Send Customer Portal Link You can now send the Customer Portal before or during an appointment—no need to wait until the appointment is complete. This gives customers early access to helpful information like company and contact details, optional pre-appointment resources, and even in-progress photos. On The Way Text Messaging Stay connected with homeowners leading up to the appointment with three flexible messaging options: • On The Way Messages: Sent as soon as a user is en route. • Automated ETA Messages: Triggered when a user’s estimated arrival reaches a specific threshold. • Delayed Messages: Pre-written templates to notify customers if the user is running behind. Each project’s details now live on its own page, making it easy for customers to explore project drawings, solutions, selected products, financing options, and related documents. All photos, presentations, and inspection details are still accessible with an updated layout. Sales Rep Details If your reps have a photo, title, bio, or contact info in SolutionView Admin, customers will now see that information displayed in the portal—adding a more personal, trustworthy touch to the experience. Appointment Resources Educational resources can now be added to the Customer Portal via the Admin site. Use these to provide value to customers even before a product is presented—whether it’s appointment preparation tips, service overviews, or issue-based knowledge. Make Payment Button If configured, companies can add a payment collection URL to the portal setup. Once a customer signs their project, a Make Payment button appears—creating a smooth handoff to payment collection. Anything cleared can be re-downloaded later if you revisit the appointment, so your history is still there when you need it. SolutionView Tablet version 2.3.20
Updated At: 2025-04-13
Changes: Apr 13, 2025 Version 2.3.20 The latest version of SolutionView is here, and it brings several major enhancements designed to elevate the experience for the teams who serve homeowners every day. Redefined Appointment Screen Customer History: If your company uses Salesforce or Improveit 360, you’ll now see a customer’s full history directly within the appointment screen. Note: Product and pricing details won’t appear in the portal until the appointment is finalized. This option is only available if your company has the Customer Portal feature enabled. Result Appointment Once a project has been selected and the appointment completed, users can now result the appointment directly from the appointment screen. This allows for quick updates to project details and a seamless handoff to the cloud. Redefined Customer Portal New Layout, Optimized for Mobile The Customer Portal has been completely redesigned for a cleaner, mobile-friendly experience. E-Sign Automation When a customer signs a project in the Customer Portal, it’s now automatically queued in SolutionView Admin. After approval, the project details will update your CRM—whether you’re using Salesforce or Improveit 360. Inside Sales on Web Edit Projects in SolutionView Admin Inside sales teams can now update proposals directly from the SolutionView Admin website. Just like in the app, you can walk through and edit details of a project and result the appointment as Sold or Pending. Once finalized, details will automatically sync with Salesforce or Improveit 360.
