About the challenge

February 22nd - 25th, 2024.

​This 48-hour hackathon is set to ignite the creative sparks of developers, entrepreneurs, and blockchain enthusiasts with a Code / No Code Hack.

​Yes, that is right, you can come hack and not need to code to bring your ideas to life!

  • 10am to 12pm - Non Technical ways you can support a team

  • 12pm to 2pm - Office Hours

Sunday, February 25:

  • 10am to 12pm - Intro Workshop to Solana SDK

  • 12pm to 2pm - Office Hours

  • Submissions Due @ 4PM

  • Judging Happens @ 4PM

​Whether you're a seasoned coder or a non-technical innovator, this event is the perfect platform to showcase your skills and contribute to the next wave of consumer blockchain products.

​The Mexico Solana Hack is more than just a competition; it's a collaborative experience where participants can learn from peers, engage with industry experts, and push the boundaries of what's possible in the blockchain space. The event will kick off with IRL and virtual workshops in CDMX, with the submissions completed virtually. (The event invitation is coming soon, but save the date for February 22 in CDMX @ 5:00 PM for a little super meets!)

What to Submit

Submit the following by the specified deadline (February 25, 2024 @ 4PM CST):

  • Presentation: A slide deck presentation detailing your project's value to Solana, your approach, potential business opportunities, team roles, and contributions. If your project has no code, please detail it on the deck.

  • Video: A 4-minute pitch video explaining your concept. If your project has no code, please detail it.

  • A prototype (MVP) utilizing Solana blockchain technology. (Applies for Code Participants)

  • Your Github link. (Should be public. Applies for Code Participants)

Team Composition

  • Teams should have 1-5 members with diverse skills, including project leadership, design, development, and marketing/communication. 
  • At least one member must be from Mexico or residing in Mexico

Real World Asset tokenization
Digital identity solutions (on and off-chain KYC)
* A bill-splitting tool (Splitwise)
* Payments request tool (like Revolut).
* Merchant/marketplace payment solutions (like Xero, or Stripe).
* On-chain subscription or streaming payments.
* On and Off ramps (P2P and banking)
* Automatic gas fee-paying solutions
* An on-chain escrow system (like Binance P2P but on-chain)
* Multisig and on-chain security systems (like on-chain 2FA).
* Programmatic wallet creation for websites (sign in with
email/phone number, etc).
* A new way to sign a wallet into a website (other than a browser
ad-on).
* Whatsapp/Telegram chatbot payments

For this bounty you will be able to submit for one or multiple categories. In order for your submission to count you must:
* Mint your image as a token within the hack time frame.
