Institution building- Amrita Patel Centre for Public Health (APCPH), Karamsad

Bhaikaka University (BU) has a formal agreement with Sohoki to support the leadership and strategic development of the APCPH, with Dr. Nayanjeet Chaudhury deputed as the Director-in-charge from Sept 2024. SOHOKI’s team helped in designing, delivering and evaluating a “Certificate Program in Public Health Leadership” for the staff and faculty of APCPH using Kirkpatrick’s model of evaluation (level 1, 2 & 3), Bloom’s Taxonomy, Merril’s First Principles of Instruction among other globally accepted pedagogical models and frameworks. The team under Dr. Nayanjeet’s leadership is now engaged in designing a Master of Public Health Program and an Executive MPH program using the same models.

Organizational restructuring of The Constellation

In 2024–2025, The Constellation partnered with Sohoki Enterprise to reflect on our journey and shape our future. Through conversations with over 40 stakeholders across Asia, Africa, and Europe, we explored how to stay true to our SALT-CLCP philosophy while strengthening our structures, sustainability, and global collaboration.

Key outcomes included a strong call for regional autonomy with central support, more accessible training, sustainable funding models, and better documentation and communication. Together, we proposed new organizational models that balance local leadership with shared values.

This process reaffirmed our belief in collective wisdom and community-driven change. With a clearer roadmap ahead, we are ready to evolve—stronger, more connected, and grounded in what matters most.

Public Health nutrition project- PCI, Uttar Pradesh

Sohoki was engaged by Project Concern International (PCI) to support a technical review of the modified Take-Home Ration (THR) recipes developed under the ICDS program. The project focused on four key areas: reformulating THR products as per new NFSA guidelines and testing them through community-led trials; improving packaging using eco-friendly materials for longer shelf-life and better usability; conducting in-depth research on regional food preferences; and evaluating the market potential for new product lines.

Our approach blended scientific rigour with community engagement, ensuring solutions that are nutritious, affordable, acceptable—and scalable. With this initiative, we tried to boost nutritional outcomes for women and children, build stronger THR enterprises, and reduce environmental impact through better design.
