About me

Hi there, how's it going?
Since my profile page seemed rather boring and lifeless, I decided to pimp it up to the best of my ability. Let's get this over with, shall we? ^_^
Honestly, there isn't much to tell you about me. I love watching Anime, I love writing, I love watching classic Kung-Fu flicks, I love reading too. I hold my friends dear like everyone else - even more so my family. Except for one or two talents I have (which I don't really want to mention here since I'd like to stay anonymous ^_~ ) I'm pretty much your regular young adult. I keep popping up on SoFurry just for the sake of MAYBE writing another chapter to one of the series I started long, long ago...The difference in the quality of work from back then and now will probably be like day and night (Which will probably ruin the experience for a lot of people who are new to my work) but I don't really care, I just want to keep writing - that's all there is to it.
To say that I love Anime is probably an understatement. You get what I mean. Funnily enough my whole inspiration seems to come from Anime - these Japanese dudes must be doing something right, I don't know, it just clicks with me. The only thing I don't really like is how they sometimes handle romance (Oh yeah, I'm picky on this topic god damn it!!) but maybe it's just some kind of tradition they have there (Harems for example are scarce in the western media, well except for TV-Shows and such but that doesn't count). Whatever.
I love writing. It's a passion of mine. I want to get better - if there's one thing I can tell you for certain it's that writing is not something you can just learn in a year or two, hell even 5 years wouldn't be enough. Unless you're a bookworm who writes articles and such on a daily basis, it will take time. There's no shortcut and believe it or not - my writing skills are nothing compared to those who get their work published. I am striving towards that skill level and I will most definitely not give up.
- When should you consider reading my stuff?
If you like any of the following things that I'm about to list you can give my submissions a try:
1. M/F - nothing else.
2. Character Development
3. Adventure
4. Comedy? Maybe? Not quite sure myself since everyone perceives this differently.
5. Pokemon
- My goals
As I already mentioned my primary objective is to improve my writing. So naturally any kind of feedback/criticism is welcome as long as you keep it constructive. As I went to re-read some of my old submissions on this website I noticed that they have an unbelievable amount of mistakes - there are numerous sentences that don't make any sense AT all and hence - I have decided that I will, if time allows it, slowly start to iron out the whole mess hoping you get an overall better experience out of my work.
I'm also going to keep on writing my old stories just to keep the pen rolling. I won't make any announcements though since I know - and those who followed me back in the days also know it - I'm no good at keeping deadlines.
- Questions I get asked a lot:
There are some things I CONSTANTLY get asked and I think we'll save each other some time if you quickly read through this:
- Can you review my new story? - I can, depending on my mood. I'll have to be honest though if the story isn't gripping or seems like a blatant copy of something - some of you know very, very well what I mean by that - my attention span will shorten itself considerably. Translation: I'm probably going to read the first chapter and that's it. Put some effort into it guys..
- I want to make a story just like you! How do I start? - By reading. You're going to do everyone a big favor as a future writer if you just let yourself get inspired and increase your vocabulary. Educate yourself on the basics of writing - Google is your best friend here- ABSORB all the information you can get. If you want to create content people will enjoy you have to put in work.
- When will the next chapter come out?? - Most of these are regarding the Kyurex series and I'll be honest, don't ask, you can only hope. As I've already said if my work resonates well I'll probably be more motivated to do the next chapter and so on but either than that, there's not much that can be done about it. I have so many disturbances in my life and other activities, it just makes it impossible for me to keep any sort of deadline.
I don't bite guys, if you want to know more or ask about something else its absolutely no problem! PM me. I love communicating with you guys, honest!
My Recommendations

A lot of people ask me for my preferences and since I have nothing against sharing it with all you guys, here are a couple of my favorite works and some opinions on various media:
Anime
My favorite Anime would have to be Black Lagoon and Tenjho Tenge. Even though both of these Anime have a rather dark setting I actually enjoy genres like comedy, romance and drama the most. I good example here would be Full Metal Panic - it is a perfect blend of all the good stuff about Anime. Another series, which in my opinion is a MUST watch would be Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate. Seriously, give it a go.
If you're new to the medium I propose you watch stuff like Bleach or...you know I've honestly watched to much anime. Literally. I'm not even going to link you to my AnimeList because it's sad....no joke. If you want to talk to me about Anime or whatever, just PM me ;-). I'll be sure to answer the next time I'm online.
For me Anime is a great source of inspiration. Most of my work was probably inspired by various Anime and this is where I'd like to say the following to any future writer - find yourself some kind of medium to get ideas that will provoke your mind to be creative on it's own and who knows - maybe you'll be thinking up stories of your own during the process. It doesn't have to be Anime that motivates you to write, heck it can be a Video game for all I care but the fact is you aren't born with all possible ideas and plots and twist and whatever in your head - think of it as exercise, for your mind that is and you'll gradually begin to understand what I mean.
Books
- Personal Favorites
There are two books that come to mind. "Battle Royal" and "The Last Wish". These two are a must have. Battle Royal is not for everybody mind you, it is gruesomely realistic with how the characters are portrayed and how they react to the circumstances they are placed in which, mind you, aren't pretty at all. It is also the book that inspired the Hunger Games setting. No doubt. "The Last Wish" has a similar feeling, but they're actually totally different books. It's the story of the Witcher we all know by the way, Geralt.
- Dystopian YA Novels - the new trend
There is something else I'd like to mention, just to help some people out who are hooked on this type of thing. Don't misunderstand though. I have nothing against Dystopian YA Novels but I have something against the quality of most of these books that have been coming up from nowhere. Quite frankly, after the Hunger Games and Legend....I got sick of these uninspired copies. I'm not going to rant about the obvious influence of Hunger Games filled with the next upcoming wannabe Twilight romance. Do yourself a favor and Leave it at Legend + Hunger Games. Trust me. Those are great books that at least have their own characters.
To wrap things up - feel free to contact me, enjoy your stay and have a blast reading my stuff if it interests you!
Thanks for taking your time - can't believe anybody would actually read this but oh well! Take care.
