Suru Meikka is a female river otter. She stands about 5'5" with a toned figure, though she does sport some C cup breasts. Her fur is a rusty reddish color, with a 'Strawberry milk' color on her breasts, tummy, and to her slit. Her ears have a pair of dragon shaped chain ear piercings in them, the dragons head is near the ear tip and the tail is near the base of her ear. Her back carries a tattoo, three dragons resting on clouds and looking peaceful and at rest The dragons all ahve a name in their scales, Alku, Isä, Sisko, mother, father, sister. She typically wears a black robe that shows off some cleavage, but the rest of her figure is hidden by the robe. She carries four blades at all times, a Wakizashi, a pair of Katanas, and her families prized blade, the Blood Dragon Daikatana, that she now calls Kostaa.
Her past
A mysterious set of islands exists in the eastern hemisphere of the world. Islands more shrouded in rumor than the Bermuda Triangle. A chain of land masses known as the Helven Links. Since ancient times a family of swordsman dwelled on these islands, and developed their craft until it was the world's most leading style of sword art. The Yamata no Orochi style was aptly named after the 8 headed dragon, for there were 8 unyielding virtues of the style.
Suru Meikka, was the youngest daughter of Kenta Meikka, the previous Master of the Yamata no Orochi style of swordsmanship. Once training begins for the Meikka family it takes eight years to master each virtue. While Suru was undergoing her training for the Sixth Virtue of the style, her entire family was assaulted and nearly wiped out by a clan of dragon that didn't tolerate rivals to their mastery of the sword. For years these two entities of the world have fought for dominance in being the best at what they do. Suru was away during their attack, on her pilgrimage across the world which forced her to apply her training in real world events. It wasn't until she returned home that she saw her family home in ashy ruins. It didn't take her long to glean what had happened. The decaying remains of both her family and several members of the Blackblade Dragon Clan, littered the place of her birth. Because her training was incomplete, she still held on to her attachments and developing hatred for the dragons who had sundered apart the only world she knew.
Vowing to vengeance for her family, the lone she-otter stole away into her father's sacred chambers buried beneath the Temple of Yamata no Orochi. There she unearthed the forbidden Daikatana that was said to have destroyed the very creature her style was named for. Though being twice her size, the Katana was forged from the scales and blood of a dragon itself. This combination of unusual materials gave the blade magical properties, proving to be indestructible and seemingly light weight to Meikka's bloodline.
With her family's ancient heirloom she seeks to destroy every last Blackblade Dragon she can find. Their numbers were undetermined as they were so widespread. Yet her vow to avenge her family remains strong.
Her blades
She was trained with all weapons so she can use anything she finds or disarms from an opponent, She does prefer though her Four blades.
Sisko, Sister, Her Wakizashi, the smallest blade she carries. It is a shortblade (30cm blade [about a foot in length], not including the hilt) she normally uses for when she can sneak up on a target and is pressed to the throat. It like all of her blades are in a traditional style, with a red cloth under the black cloth wrapping for the hilt, and a hand-guard of a slain dragon
Alku and Isä, Mother and father, A pair of Katanas her primary blades (80cm blades each [about two and a half feet]) They were givient o her by her father as she was came of age and training. She made a slight change to them, the end of one hilt is threaded, adn the other has a place for the other to be screwed in place, allowing her to attach them hilt to hilt, making them one weapon. Like all of her blades these are in a traditional style, with a red cloth under the black cloth wrapping for the hilt, and a hand-guard of a slain dragon
She gave her families forbidden blade a new name when she took it up for battle.
Kostaa, Avenge, A blade known as the Forbidden blade or the Blood Dragon Dai-Katana. This monster blade is 335cm (11feet) long not including the hilt. Normally such a blade would be a struggle to use with any sort of swiftness, but it is made of special steel that was forged wiht the scales of the Blood Dragon, making it when in the hands of one of her family, light as a feather, to others it would weight 36kg (80lbs) and it would feel as though it was resisting the other user. This blade would sport red wrappings and a golden color under the wrappings. The blade would have a dragon etched in it. The same dragon it had slain and been made with
Virtues of her teachings
First Virtue-Versatility: Never limit yourself to one style or weapon. Expand your abilities as far as you can take them, so that you can survive any situation by familiarizing yourself with various ways to defend your life.
Second Virtue-Perseverance: Once a goal is set, never relinquish yourself from the task. Always see things through until the end. Death before failure.
Third Virtue-Honor: Every action you take must be justified by honorable means. Never sacrifice your honor for convenience.
Fourth Virtue-Humility: Arrogance dulls the mind as rust dulls a blade. Your abilities may win you fame, but your overconfidence shall bring you shame.
Fifth Virtue-Balance: One must never sacrifice speed for strength, or power for swiftness. Increase your capacity to hold both in equal measure.
Sixth Virtue-Practice: No one ever stops being a student. Even when you become a master the universe will always be your teacher.
Seventh Virtue-Detachment: Remove yourself from worldly desires and self-indulgence. Only when you can separate your emotions and desires can you hone your skills beyond ordinary limits.
Eighth Virtue-Love: Though love can be considered as a form of attachment to others, it is actually a presence of self that frees the mind. Love all that is and will be, even your enemies. To love world is to accept life for all that it is.
