Aisling "Spookie" Sinibach was born in Dublin Ireland to a feline family of notorious witches. As once might expect, when you have a reputation as a family associated with witchery your social life tends to suck. Fear not! One move to America with her aunt and suddenly people couldn't care less that her great grandmother was accused of fornicating with devils! All people wanted was for her to talk in her irish accent and occasionally throw a little gaelic at them and they couldn't care less about the whole 'mom bewitching the pastor' thing.
Unfortunately the "Spookie" part comes from the fact that the old blood breeds true. Aisling is a witch from a family of witches. She doesn't want all the magical mystical bull crap, and her aunt respects that. Her mom doesn't. In fact her mom is quite put out that the daughter of a powerful wizard and she is 'out slumming' on other side of the ocean. But power will not be denied and so often times 'wierd shit' happens around her. Milk migh spoil. Mirrors break. People she doesn't like have accidents. Just spookie stuff.
Needless to say, she's just trying for a normal life... hoping to find a boyfriend... or girlfriend. Well given her disasterous attempts at relationships before there's no point in getting picky. She works at her aunt's book store, trying to cater to people who don't want to deal with the mega book stores while trying to decide if she wants to go to college or something else. Her primary mode of transportation is a bicycle... dress is casual and usually hand stitched.
As for sex (because for some that's all they care about) she's a virgin... by circumstance than choice. So while she's inexperienced she is curious...so why don't you try TALKING to her about something freaky rather than just trying it?

Her aunt murdered by her mother, her mother murdered by her, Aisling has found herself on the street and on the run from three mystical powers trying to hunt her. The "Street Shaman" has a reputation for someone who can get things done outside of normal circles. Dressed in slashed pants and fishnet body stockings 'liberated' from raves the calico cat wears primarily black these days. She fashions rat and bird skulls into jewelry and has a walking stick liberated from the tree of knowledge.
She operates under ground and on the fringe. Section 88, the government's cabal of pet magicians, insists on drafting her and putting her to their use. The Order of the Coven believes she was a conspirator with her mother against the powers of the balance and must be brought to justice and execution. And most fearsome of all are the Darklings; creatures from beyond the mortal veil that have a particular interest in her that still eludes her.
