Hi, I'm Kaylen.


I'm a queer, neurodivergent writer (ASD + ADHD) and a proud trans woman.

My stories are stronger because they're rooted in the truth of who I am and shaped by lived experience.


I write soft horror, surreal fantasy, and emotional fiction woven through a dreamlike world called The Sleepwalker's Lantern — a space shaped by memory, grief, and quiet magic.


At its center is Velune — my fursona, and the heart of this world.

She's a dreamwalker who wanders the blurred lines between healing and haunting.

She carries a lantern, a codex, and sometimes, the grief of others.


My work explores what it means to be different — to live gently in a world that has forgotten how to be kind.


I'm also offering character development help for anyone struggling with an OC's backstory, emotional arc, or motivation. I'm not a pro (yet!), but I love digging into character work. If you're stuck or just want a sounding board, feel free to message me. I'm only taking on a couple at a time so I can give each one proper care, but I'll always respond to every genuine message.
