Science....The one thing in the world that makes you ask why. If there isn't anything else that makes you ask that. But once you see Specimen forty-eight and her 250 other siblings you'll want to get the person who created these monsters alone in a room to see what he or she were thinking. Even if you could it'd be impossible. They've been eaten, by her. Once she was devouring the city of SoFurry one by one alone. Now with ehr experience she'd return to her home of Sea-Bio Labs to release the rest of her 249 siblings. So, Lock your doors, Bar your windows. DO NOT come out at night. Since that fateful day Specimen 48 has lead her sibling on a bloody conquest of SoFurry city, aplty naming themselves 'The School' (Literally meaning a grouping of fish)
The School usually hunt at night either solo like 48 or in packs up to seven and stick to darker areas despite there bright-ish exteriors. Their agility rivals that of the most skilled predators, wolves, cats, even dragons(which happens to be their favorite) The jaw bite power pushes 2500 psi enough to crush human bones into dust. The Piranhas of the school have a high calcium diet, which is why usually there is very little of their victims after a hunt, to compensate for their strong teeth and nails. Another trait of the School is that the have the uncanny ability to traverse most any surface which helps with their extreme agility. But all is not bad with the School from recent attack survivors they seem to have a wicked fear of fire and seem reluctant to face bright lights. When not stricken with hunger the piranhas of The School behave like cats, stretching out to relax brushing against objects or even people, some say this is how they mark their next target.
Usually you will see 48 alone and on the hunt for her less fortunate brothers and sisters (either pregnant or wounded)
word of warning for all curious furs without a death wish. If you see ANY of the School please spare yourself a bloody, painful death and steer clear. Though they have cat like tendencies it does not mean the will see you for something to fill their bellies.
