Tips For Leaving Feedback

I love feedback, positive and negative.

+Point out general issues with grammar, while using specific instances to site it. Pointing out a single grammar mistake doesn't really help anyone in the long run unless they're perfecting the story already up.

+Offer advice on what you'd like to have seen included. More perspective from a character, or if you felt the pacing was inconsistent. Cite reasons why.

+Keep in mind that people may be mentally digesting your feedback even if they seem hesitant or not openly accepting. Don't feel obligated to leave feedback if the person is insulting you though. =o.o=

+Point out what you found favorable about the story or what made you enjoy it.

+Staying positive usually helps feedback be received well.

+Leave feedback with a rating.

-Don't rate everything 5 stars because you're afraid the author will hunt you down. Leaving 1 star ratings and then just bailing is the equivalent of saying "You suck and you should know why you worthless #$@".

-Don't judge based on content (IE Kinks, or genre).

-Don't flame the author for views or beliefs.

-Don't beg for stories/art/whatever.

Remember! Things are posted in public places because the author/artist WANTS you to see and appreciate them! <3 If they're just posting in public because they believe it's a favor to you then they are egotistical c@#$s.

P.S. I try to respond to every comment and feedback I get, but if I don't notice for a week or so or your profile is totally blank then I can get shy. Like "Maybe this person doesn't care that I care!". Sorry, it's definitely not personal! Love and peace.
