It`s quiet now. The darkness is spreading. The sun abandons the city, leaving it cold and alone in the dark. Everyone scurries to get inside and barricade themselves behind their doors. Not even the moon dares to be out on a night like this. This is when `they` come out. They are the darker denizens, the ones that control the city in its darkest hour. They take and break anything that is not theirs, thriving on the suffering on others. Those poor individuals who failed to get inside suffered more than any other, and tonight would be no different. A scream fills the still air, shattering the silence. A young girl finds herself backed into the corner of a long dark alley by two thugs. As the two men begin to close in on the girl, a burst of sudden light breaks through the darkness. The light illuminates everything, revealing the true nature of everything it touches. The two men become twisted and dark, shifting to a form that is more beast than man. The light begins to grow stronger and brighter, blinding everyone that happens to see it. Then the light suddenly vanished, leaving the two men lying at the feet of a new man. There stood a light anthro wolf with broad wings of white feathers, stretching out from his back with flowing white robes adorning his body. He gave the poor frightened girl a smile, nodding to her before he vanished just as quickly as he showed himself. He didn’t bother to hang around to talk or receive thanks or praise, he couldn’t. He knew there were others out there who would need him, acting as savior for the damned of this world. Of course as with any hero, super or not, he does live a second life. He walks down the street and among everyone else, has a day job, and acts like your average fur when not needed. Can sometimes be found running around as a young teenager , shifting to this form to hide or take some time off from crime fighting.
