My name is Huntermun, and I am often a starving artist… literally. I'm a writer, so when I use the word literally, you can be reasonably sure I am using it in the proper way. I'm a gamer, so that's why most of the ways you can contact me are through gaming services. I'm a digital artist who gave up on paper a long time ago and I'm also a storyteller who creates worlds for others in both original and non-original settings… most notably Werewolf: The Apocalypse (not mine), The Crossover, and Adaptation.
It's that last one I've been working on off-and-on for a few years now, devising full alternate realities and products to be shared among my different ideas. For the last year, specifically, I have been working on a TWINE and SugarCube 2 Text-Based RPG based in the Adaptation universe to be published in various places for people to enjoy. It's heavily science fiction an draws upon some of my most favorite video games as inspiration such as the Mega Man / X / Zero series, Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge / Battle Clash, Mass Effect Trilogy, Star Trek (minus Enterprise), and many more.
I've been a Furry for longer than I've known what one was, starting about as soon as I could understand story and narrative, some time in the late 1980s. Whether it was various Disney products or American Werewolf in London, my interest in anthropomorphic characters was through cartoons and werewolves. In truth, the cartoons probably did it, and werewolves were probably a better indication of my later fetish of transformations… which goes hand-in-hand with me being transgender and desiring a transformation for my body to match what I feel internally.
I think I probably figured out what being a Furry was in the mid-1990s, shortly before discovering Werewolf: The Apocalypse and anime such as The Guyver in 1997. Some late night on Netscape on my old Mac, I came across VCL and all those various anthropomorphic characters—including wolftaurs and foxtaurs—and got the concept of "Furry" from there. Shortly thereafter, I also turned my friend Guyver47 on to the fandom as well and she became popular for a while… a least until real life ruined her time to draw.
I'm pretty open to random conversations, so feel free to hit me up. I mean, don't expect a conversation if I'm busy with something, but it I won't bite if you just ask. I'm Huntermun in most places (X-Box Live, PSN, Nintendo, Steam, Origin, Tumblr, Twitter, FurAffinity, InkBunny, and so on…) though it may take a some time to reply as I'm not use to checking each location every single day. If I were more popular, then I would… but no matter what I do, I can't seem to get noticed.
Related to that, I've got a Patreon. If you want to check it out, I would greatly appreciate even $1 a month, and doing so would allow you to vote for where my efforts in creation are put. My intention is to always be working on Adaptation in the background, but if you want to see more digital art from me you can take that Tier. If you want me to make more videos, or write more stories, I can do that too. I have the next few chapters of Phazon Purple in my head if you'd like to see that, and the same goes for Threads of Fate as well.
Check out https://www.patreon.com/ImprovisionEntertainment for my Patreon, and if you want to follow game-specific updates, I've got a Facebook Page for that: https://www.facebook.com/Adaptation21XX/. It is my hope to have something playable sooner rather than later and that'll either be posted here, or given as a link in a Journal… so if such a prospect as that interests you, you can Subscribe to me here and Like the game on Facebook.
Hope this was an interesting read. If you've got questions, I've got answers.
See you in the Future,
—Huntermun
