Alright, my main problem here is where to begin...Might as well start at the beginning.
I grew up on Disney movies. VHS mind you, I was a big Winnie the Pooh fan. I also watched movies like The Lion King 1, 2 &1/2, Robin Hood, The Fox and The Hound, Bambi, The Little Mermaid 1, 2, 3 (would that count as anthro? Because of Flounder and Sebastian?) The Aristocats, The Rescuers 1 & 2, All Dogs Go To Heaven 1, 2, 3, and the feature films for families The Wind In The Willows. (Also the Disney version, I love the backgrounds in the former.) So basically if it's classic Disney, I've probably seen it. I have also seen the new-ish Pea Body and Sherman, cgi movie.
I also watched cartoons such as Dark Wing Duck, Classic Disney Cartoons, Loony Toons, Garfeild and Friends, Dog City, Redwall, Rockey and Bullwinkle, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, and a few others I've forgotten about.
I also played the Spyro The Dragon games for Play Station 1, it was my first video game series. I have since then played Sonic the Hedgehog, Sly Cooper and the Animal Crossing games.
So, I was a fan of anthropomorphic animals without knowing I was a furry. Enter that CSI Vegas episode....(Bum Bum Bah) I'm like I'm a fan of anthropomorphic animals but not the whole yiffing thing. So there was no way I was a furry right? (In denile.)
Time skip a few years...and for some odd reason I started looking up furry stuff on the interwebs, and came to the conclusion that like 10% of the fandom does the yiffing thing. and I'm probably like most fandom members. I like anthropomorphic animals, and am fine with hugging, kissing and or nose touching.
This brings me to the furry books I've read.
Return to the Willows, the unofficial sequel to The Wind In The Willows. Nose touching between Rat and a female rat, big cuteness factor. I have also read Wild Fang, The Wormling Series, Dragon Rider, Inkheart trilogy, Fairy Tail Manga, Guardians of Gahoole, and a few more I can't remember at this time.
