As a somewhat longtime lurker, I've decided to try my hand at writing. Not because I want to be a writer, but as a self test. See, I've always had a dream as to become a video game designer and developer, and I already have a huge list of game that I want to make eventually. But there is a huge difference between an idea and a plan. My purpose in writing here is twofold. I am attempting to train myself in the art of world building, while also trying to force myself into something of a long term commitment.

Now, you might be one of the three or so people who remember my very first attempt of writing nine years ago. Please forget that. It honestly brings me much shame whenever I think of that time. That being said, I don't believe in deletion, so that story is instead being moved into a folder called cringe. Do not look in the cringe folder. please.
