A little joey sits searching through a small bag for something. His tail sways back and forth with anticipation before he pulls out a rather large ball. With all the enthusiasm of a cub, he tosses the bright red ball into the air and scampers after it once it bounces around the ground.

It was apparent right away that the cub didn't look like the typical kangaroo. Instead of a reddish or gray fur, his was a deep black color. A few patches of white fur decorated the top of his head and from what could be seen, his neck and chest was covered in gray fur. Several red stripes run over his muzzle and down his back.

Strapped to his back was a small back which he used to cover all of his belongings since he was taken from his home and his parents killed when he was seven. He escaped from his captors and has been searching for a new family for the past three years.
