Whew... I'm glad to get that out of the way. The furry community is fantastic! I love the variety of art, stories and media being produced on this site and others. SoFurry has quickly become a favourite of mine because I can easily browse high quality art and great stories easily. Therefore I'm shedding my lurker title in favour of bring more active in this community and eventually I want to contribute in my own small way. Drawing isn't my strong suit at all, but I do like to write when inspiration hits me, usually at 3am on a Tuesday. So here I am, finally jumping into the creative writing pool and getting my paws wet.

Nice to meet you, let me introduce myself...

I'm a 38 year old Canadian guy, once engaged and once heartbroken. I suppose I am a pretty typical Canadian: friendly, a good listener, enjoys the snow and also a good beer. My friends call me the 'Gentle Giant' since I'm 6'5" and generally soft spoken. I love to read, eat good food and play the occasional video game.

Several years ago I went through a period of self-discovery. I had to come to terms with what I was feeling and who I wanted to associate with. I suppressed my nature as a sexual being and it led to me finding out my true identity as a gay male. I am now married to the love of my life and we couldn't be happier.
