John is a simple minotaur his past was that of violence and death as his people were so accustomed to being attacked he was considered one of their champions.  When he became tired of the killing and death he left his community and made his way here.  Now he lives a simple life in his cave where he mines it out for money for anything he needs.  Often he dresses simply in a loincloth and not much else.
