Alaric was born on the planet, Tal like most other sergals. Being raised in a small group in a much bigger clan before becoming of age to learn to hunt. Alaric honed his skill, learning quickly on the more advanced hunting techniques and becoming one of the more well known superior hunters in his early teenage years. Alaric kept up his skills and even found himself a couple partners throughout the journey, bringing a few offspring into the world of Tal.

When Alaric reached his more adult years he went out and explored around the area to discover a crashed ship deeper in the forest. He went to investigate and found a couple of survivors who were barely alive. He hoisted them over his shoulders and took them back to the clan where they taken care of and given what medical care the sergal clan knew. The two survivors were taught the hunting techniques to keep up their strength until their distress call was answered a few months later. Having befriended Alaric (with a few sexual encounters mixed in) the survivors asked if anyone from the clan would like to explore more off the planet they've come to known. Alaric and a few others decided to come along and explore space for a year or so. Alaric also earning himself a spot on the security team for his hunter skills during their space adventure.

Once the spaceship returned home to debrief on what happened during the crash. The two survivors told the higher ups what happened and how they befriended a clan of sergals to stay alive. Alaric got a medal from them for saving the crew members but he declined the shiny metal. Getting to explore more and defend them with his skills when danger presented itself was a reward of its own and wanted to explore the new planet they were on. He got his wish with a few sergals following suit while the rest stayed aboard the spaceship. Parting ways with hugs from his other clan members Alaric made his way down to the new planet to the capital of a well known land run under a red dragon. Since he had nothing to his name the space explorers gave him a hefty sum of money for his work and dedication for protecting the ship. Alaric bid them farewell and started a new journey in the capital known as Tanis.

The sergal wandered the city for a couple months, finding a nice place to live in a small condo. However his money was soon running out from living a daily life and figured it was time to find a job that everywhere he looked was looking to hire. He had a few odd jobs here and there but none of them lasted as long as he'd hoped. Some of the more nicer ones he talked to said he should check out the casino as a gold dragon who owned it was very generous with offering work. Alaric went to this casino and met the dragon himself Zenith who quickly warmed up to a new face. Though Zenith had met other sergals before he was curious, asking Alaric about his life and what he's done in his life. Zenith gave him a start as a card dealer but Alaric kept glancing over towards the bar when the bartender starting shaking the drinks. Zenith saw and made him a bartender shortly after. Alaric learned quick of all the drinks and how to mix them. Also accidently spilling fireball over himself which is why he smells like cinnamon most of the time.

Now in the mostly present, Alaric is a well known bartender with a knowledge of mixing any kind of alcoholic drink the customer could think of. Even thinking of some of his own and carries them in a book that he leaves at the casino and his other place of work, The Lion's Den after Zenith stuck a deal with Firo in sharing employees to keep Firo's Den in top shape.
