I seldom read 1-1.5k word works. And I personally kinda always seen them as being a bit redundant to function in a sense. Since it’s usually rather difficult to find yourself getting into something where establishment and buildup aren’t as much a factor.—Though, It can still be a neat little exercise in a way…
Hmm… Regardless, I’ve noticed ppl here and there; who often purchase and prefer story shorts. So… it’s definitely got a market for it, if you decided to give it a shot.

That's a really good point! I def see them as little writing exercises focused on improving my prose rather than a fully fledged attempt at story/character building. And you're right. I've honestly considered commissioning some short stories myself XD. Thank you so much for the input!

I've been thinking about trying some small writing commissions lately, but I'm not quite committed to the idea. I was thinking of offering short(1,000 to 1,500 max) scenes that I'd basically use as warm-ups before sitting down for longer projects. They'd probably be about $10-15, and not go through as many revisions as my typical work. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I don't usually write fanfiction. But lately I've been reading the book series Dungeon Crawler Carl, and goddamn the urge to write a series about a healslut/beast tamer player is strong.

Hello furries inside my phone! I’m tryna get back into the groove of writing frequently now that sofurry is back. I’d love some feedback on what y’all would like to read next. More Doggone Avenue stories? Another Full Service Farmhand? Something else entirely? I’m excited to write all three, and will eventually but I’ve got the worst indecisiveness about where to start! Thank god I’m an amateur writer and don’t have any deadlines to hit haha
