Welcome to my little corner of SoFurry!

I'm Obsydian, but I go by Syd. I'm a 37 year old wuff/derg hybrid living in the northern New England states. I'm a disabled army veteran trying to get by while pretending to be this human. 

I'm currently going to school for my bachelor's degree in clinical psychology, and that takes up a lot of my time. When I'm not doing school work I love to geek out with my hobbies. That includes gaming (both video and table top), comics, anime, but my absolute favorite is assembling and painting miniature figurines. I am a big horror nut and love the classic horror movies, but I'm usually willing to watch a newer one if it seems interesting. I'm also a big metalhead and love to rock out to my favorite jams.
