[i]Mary had always been a rather feisty lady, wild and temperamental despite her exceptional scientific ability as a neurophysicist from Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, Scotland. Gerald was a mild mundane sweet-hearted gentleman who almost never started a fight, even when he knew the other person was wrong over years of being beaten into submission before he escaped his home city of Halifax in Nova Scotia, Canada.

The two managed to meet by a chance encounter in a library, and before they knew it, their lives became greater for it with Mary's firey enthusiasm encouraging him to commit to greater things, whilst Gerald's calm submissive humility helped to ease her in darker strife, at least when he was composed enough inbetween his own fears and nightmares. If only they knew what future their son would have to walk ever greater distances than either of them could imagine in their entire lives.[/i]

I had always imagined James' parents like this, the wild hot-blooded mother and the calmer subdued father to balance each other out. Now we know where James gets his temper from, right?
