\n Origin (pre-existing story): James “Taurn” Raptor is the last of the Maker's 11th generation of clones. Of the entire batch, only Taurn, at that time designated, C-11n, was thought to be worthy of survival. He quickly became the third in command of the Makers forces, and was in line to be the second, a fact which the Makers first creation, Lord Phyte, did not like. Being a barbaric nightmare of a life form Lord Phyte beat Taurn, at the time named Nightshade, into an inch of his life triggering a berserk rage. Taurn slaughtered Phyte and still in rage decided to kill the Maker as well. Taurn failed in this act horribly, and was thrown into a dungeon for DNA extraction, torture and then execution. While in his cell he discovered that a loose flag stone concealed a passageway which lead out into a pine Forrest at the base of the Sh'shari mountain range. At the end of the passage he found a bundle which contained an Infantry Saber, an .44 automatic and seven clips as well as his old knife. A note pinned to the bundle read “Taurn, here are weapons for your quest. Learn to use the power you have, then come back and take your revenge. - X” Deciding that the bundle would be useful to him, he decided to call himself Taurn, and took up the weapons. He than decided to flee down the mountains and arrive at the village of Sh'shari to begin looking for a Master, or whatever power he had. Just outside of the village he came accost Roseleaf and after skillfully killing off the gang which was intent on killing her he fell in love with the beautiful thief at first site. They became mates that very night and set off on Taurn's quest together. Later on Taurn and Roseleaf battled the resurrected Lord Phyte. During the battle Rose was killed as shi took the death blow meant for Taurn. He has wandered the land killing Phyte's and the Maker's troops indiscriminately since.
