Penelope is a quiet sort of person, preferring to be alone to read and study. And also plot the horrible deaths of her enemies and the enemies of her friends as dictated by the bylaws of her ever-so-slightly messed up race's culture.
See, Penelope is a member of a species of HIGHLY warlike beings whose entire existence revolves around conquering and pacifying new worlds in the misguided hope of eventual universal collaboration.
Penelope, one of the few non-brainwashed nobles who realize this is bad, has left her planet behind to try her luck out amongst the stars.
