Dipper receives some punishment for his actions involved in his own hazing, because he felt he deserved some. And all of the former Beach Bears prepare of Christmas.

This "punishment" was suggested by someone who had actually been in the Air Force, and I thought for someone who wanted to be a pilot, being able to clean of the the official Thunderbirds would be worth the effort.
This also includes vignettes with Stargazer and Birch to get them all home for the video that happens next.

As for the cadet, that was instigating the hazing, I don't think Dipper should feel bad about what happened as this was not an isolated case that could be chalked up to a mistake, but a pattern of behaviour that really has no place in the Air Force.
It was also good to see how the others were enjoying their holidays.
