Daspletosaurus – The Tyrannosaur in me
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
A while ago I mentioned about an increase of tyrannosaurid depictions in my gallery and now I'm coming to explain the reason behind that. I have sensed the presence of a further dinosaur therioside in me, one, that probably was actually the first, that let me feel the connection to dinosaurs at a very young age, while I wasn't that used to the concept of theriantropy or didn't know the term otherkin in general. But this experience somehow reappeared and I began to think about the pictures I've seen in my mind and dreams.
So, I do not only identify as an Allosaurus, but also as a Daspletosaurus, which is a relative of Tyrannosaurus. To clarify upcoming thoughts I'm not a hybrid of the two, but I'm connected to both species, that were separated by time as they both also belong to two different families within the Theropoda. (Allosauroidea and Tyrannosauroidea).
The tyrannosaurid that I was in some dreams resembled more to Daspletosaurus, because of the sturdy build, but had still some crest-like head ornamentation similar to Gorgosaurus or Albertosaurus. Aside, my arms were a bit longer than seen in Tyrannosaurus, but still had the two fingers.
On New Year's Eve I drew this head of a Daspletosaurus to introduce you to my other species and to visualize the features of it. (It's not a reference sheet, though)
Well, seems like I can now be invited to the family meetings of the tyrannosaurs
