Like that. I think the defense was that it was foreseeable that an inflatable boat could be punctured, with unfortunate consequences.

God forbid.

My favorite label was on a lawn mower, showing someone trying to trim a hedge while holding the mower up to it with their fingers curled INSIDE the frame. Whoever won that lawsuit should have gotten an honorary Darwin Award and the nickname "Stubby".

I served on the Town Council with a Republican that evidently needed to be reminded that after lighting the firecracker, you immediately THROW IT AS FAR AS YOU CAN. At least no one can say he is all thumbs. Now, no more than half.
