Ri’hanja Shae’reth
[b]From my "[i]Daggers of Darkness[/i]" (tm) sci-fi novel series:[/b]
Here's Ri’hanja Shae’reth (the "j" is pronounced almost like a "y"), a R'Hinsi female who is 40 years old (in R'Hin years, she's 42 in Terran Std. Years), 5 ft. 7 in. tall (170 cm), 123 lbs. (56 kg, in Std. Terran gravity), single, and no kids. I'm still working on filling out her character sheet, so I'll update this when I get the rest completed.
I made the original sketch on 8.5"x11" paper using a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil, then scanned it, and did all of the rest on my laptop using Corel Paintshop Pro 2021. This was completely digitally painted by hand (the background is my creation, not a photo).
It took some doing to get the wine glass and its contents to have just the right amount of transparency -- if you look close enough, you can see her thumb and part of her arm through the liquid.
The skin on a R'Hinsi's back is darker than the rest of their body, like the "mask" around the eyes. It wraps around their head and continues down their back.
If you look closely (you can see it on the full-size print easily) you can see the fine hairs on her cheek and other small details.
I've worked on this for the better part of a week -- the original file is huge at 176MB. I already have 20"x30" and 8"x10" print files ready to send off to be printed on FujiFilm Chrystal Archive photo paper.
