A sneak-peek to the current piece still WIP. This piece is freakishly colourful even for me... I'm using nearly my entire colour set.

There are so many layers, and many sharply contrasting tones between bright and dull colours. Everything needs to be planned carefully in a colouring sequence. Everything has to be done carefully, with details down to the limit of my pencil sharpness.

This is my first attempt to draw moving water since hiatus, and first ever air pulses in colour. This one also includes features from the previous pieces. It is also going to be my first ever attempt to draw stars, and also refine reflections. All these flashy features need to be added first, a reverse to painting techniques.

This piece has marked another change in my colouring style, as the "light first, dark later" technique gets refined further. Can't wait to finish this piece, although I have to hold back the rush and focus on quality.
