Nicholas x Shine: Progress
And here is the second chapter for this month.

Nicholas and Shine made it back to Loft Ereborn just fine. The fosky and vixen walked back to his house, paw in paw. Now of course it could be considered their house. The female was humming happily and this wasn’t lost on her buy. “You’re very happy,” he commented.
“Because I have you and I can also call that place my home since we’re together love,” she cooed and kissed him on the cheek.
“Yeah, you’re damn right you are,” he replied and nuzzled her neck which caused Shine to giggle.
They made it and went inside where the task of unpacking happened first. The two then went to his room which was the female’s now since they were together and had sex. “So what now?” she asked, looking up at her boyfriend since she was laying down cutely and he was sitting up.
“We’ll take a day off before getting back to training,” the male told his girlfriend, touching the side of her cheek gently and with a smile. “After all, I need to discuss a couple of things with the rulers. And then I want people here to know about us…”
“Mmmm sweetie…” she cooed and grabbed his paw touching her, kissing it. That night the sex was the hottest yet. The male was certain to get towels so the bedsheets wouldn’t be wrecked.
The next day they went out to visit some people. Everyone was very happy for Nicholas in hooking up with such a beauty as Shine. Once again she felt pride and happiness to be his and his alone. And the vixen saw how others felt from his parents, to the old rulers of this place. The fosky was like that as well and was determined to make Shine the happiest vixen in the world. But then it came time to get back to work and sparring with Hotaru for the female. The two rose up early like before with her waking up first this time. The female rose from the bed with a stretch, feeling his arm fall from her body. It cause Nicholas to wake up with a snort. The vixen giggled at this and snuggled up next on top of the male, wrapping her arms around his body.
“Mmm Shine, get off,” Nicholas mumbled.
“No, no, no,” she cooed in a teasing voice.
The male opened his eyes and rolled over to meet her blue gaze. “You’re a naughty teasing vixen, you know that babe?”
“I do darling. And I love to do so…”
“Well this time it won’t work,” the guy stated. “I could easily get you off but I won’t do so. Now then, we’d better get going or else someone’s sparring partner will get annoyed at us.”
“Okay, I’ll make breakfast.”
The two got ready and were soon out of the house and heading to the training grounds with Shine’s practice staff ready. She was also carrying Ish’s staff. Nicholas told her to bring it just in case. They made it and found Disonsio and Hotaru waiting for them. “Hey there!” the female red panda stated. “How was the trip?”
“Amazing,” the vixen replied happily. “It was more so since he asked me out.”
“Well I hope that doesn’t make you lose focus.”
“It won’t. It’s made me that more determined to get stronger to stand by his side and watch his back like he does with me.”
“Well-spoken love,” Nicholas stated and kissed her on the cheek. “Now show her what you’ve got after we cover the magic part.”

The two took their positions and began. By now Shine was working on the barrier and healing parts of her power. The female had come far with attacks and could do medium damage with her light elemental powers by this point. But the barriers and healing were another important factor and needed to be worked on a bit more. Nicholas however was a bit shocked when the vixen began. He sensed a shift in her power getting stronger. It was as if training for just a week at the other city had a change in her. The female noticed it to and found the last barrier technique come easily that she had been trying to master come easily and much stronger. The morning practicing flew by quickly.
Then it came time for lunch before the sparring began. The vixen and red panda took their positions. This time it was Shine who charged in first. Hotaru was surprised but blocked the vixen’s strike. The second female moved in to attack. The first blocked and without breaking her speed or form, ducked and counterattacked. The red panda, the elder one, and Nicholas saw this in surprise. But Hotaru was still too quick and managed to avoid Shine’s attack. “She’s growing…” the fosky whispered. “That has just shown how much she has gotten stronger and better..”
“She really is Ish incarnated,” Disonsio said who was next to him. “Records of her state her fighting just like this. But Shine… she’s putting other fighting moves in there. That last one was from the guard of that city you visited. She adapting.”
“It won’t be much longer until that time comes…” the long-haired male stated.
They turned back to the ladies. A minute later during the fight, Shine delivered such a powerful blow, she snapped Hotaru’s training staff and splintered her own. The broken piece went whistling off and there was a cloud of splinters and fragments. The second female tossed her broken weapon to the side. “We’re finished with these, toss yours to the side,” she said. “You’ve gotten stronger, but we’ve gone as far as we can with wooden weapons. There’s nothing more you can gain from them. Now it’s time to move on to the real weapons.”
She grabbed the one she had, an elegant looking spear. Nicholas gave Ish’s staff to Shine with the spikes out. “Aren’t we going to end up hurting or killing each other?” the vixen asked.

“Not if we do this.” The red panda concentrated for a moment before bringing out a kind of light, green in color that surrounded the blade of her weapon. “Feel the edge.” The vixen did so and saw that it realty was a barrier. “Now do the same with the spikes on your staff. Even though you can trick the opponent, a trick like that only works once. So for our sparring sessions, keep them out all the time.
Shine made the spikes come out at the head of Ish’s staff and used her powers to block them as they could puncture and kill. The two females took a ready stance. “I feel ready,” the vixen said.
“That’s good. But before we begin, just know that even though these can’t cut or kill, they could still break bones. So for god’s sake don’t flail about like usual. A blow to the neck could be fatal.”
Shine nodded and struck without warning. Sparks came out and her arms felt the shock of the impact. Her opponent moved and the first female was slow and clumsy due to using the light weighted wooden staff and was too slow. Shine got a hit on the knee. When the two stopped, they both had large welts, the vixen more than the red panda. Nicholas was proud of his girl for advancing like this. He knew that such a feat earned a little fun time. And he knew how to do it in such a way that the fosky knew the vixen would love. It would happen during the weekend in a naughty, fun way.
