Peter's Aid
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Making meals was not one of Max’s strong points, what with his paw-like hands being unable to hold most human made utensils; thankfully for everyone in the house Keith’s transformation made it so that the eevee pokemorph was able to continue cooking for the household. Of course with having so many mouths to feed the former human always needed some help in the kitchen. Sadly most of his eeveelutions were complete klutzes when it came to trying to help him out, despite some of their best efforts. The times when he had been forced to shoo one of his longtime companions out of the kitchen because they proved more destructive than beneficial to him were not moments that the gym leader recalled fondly, however despite their failures Keith was able to think up other methods for which his team could be useful to him: in particular like the time when Blazer, his flareon, had been able to use his flames to help barbeque everyone some juice blastoise steaks. Or how during the summer before Winter, Keith’s glaceon, had used his breath to make frozen berry pops for the team. Then there was that time when Vapor and Panacea had worked together with Blazer to make tea for Keith’s mother when she had stopped by while the power was out.
Yet despite these pleasant event most of the time the eevee pokemorph had to do most of the cooking by himself, at least until one of his previous eevees had evolved into a sylveon.
Peter was truly an Arceus send, what with his ribbon-like feelers able to grab onto spoons and knives. It took time for Keith to show the other how to properly wield the utensils in question, though once he was able to do so the fairy type eeveelution proved to be something of an adept when it came to mixing, chopping and stirring food for Keith. These days it was nothing to see the pair within the kitchen making either the morning or evening meal; Keith had learned very early on to fill everyone up at these times, otherwise he would end up going broke trying to feed both himself and his team. Now as they worked to make something of a treat for the household the eevee anthro had to contend with a noisy set of pokemon who were trying their darndest to pretend like they weren’t trying to peek into the kitchen to see what was going on.
“No, you may not know what we are making.” Keith said while looking out the corner of his eye at Sparkle. The jolteon, ever curious, barked its species name twice over before pulling back from out of the doorway leading into the kitchen. “And don’t you try and probe either mine or Peter’s mind either, Aura.” the psychic type eeveelution whined pitifully as looked up at its master before turning and growling grumpily up at the chuckling Peter. “And don’t you try any of your tricks either, Max.”
‘What? I didn’t do anything.’ the anthro lucario blinked as if struck while smiling cheekily at his mate.
“And let’s keep it that way.” Keith ordered. “We’ll be done with everything here in a couple of hours, so why don’t you and the others go play until then?”
‘I’d like to come in there and play with you if you’d let me.’ the anthro lucario growled hungrily while reaching down to palm at his naked groin.
“Go right ahead, but you’ll be explaining to the others while their treat ended up not being made today.” several warning growls came from behind Max at that point. The fighting-steel type pokemorph swallowed nervously as he turned to watch Blazer puff out a small plume of flame while looking at him with a dark stare that foretold of pain and agony in his near future. Beside him Scout and several other eeveelutions glared at the larger lucario dangerously.
‘I...think Sparkle and I will go for a run while you and Peter have fun in there. Come on, Sparkle, let’s head for the forest out back.” the jolteon gave a happy chirp before hotfooting it towards the front door of the house. ‘Be back in a few.’
“Take care. Oh, and be careful out there.” those words made Max stop dead in his tracks.
‘O...k? You do realize that you’re telling that to a six foot plus walking mound of fur and steel, right?’ Max asked cautiously.
“I know, but I heard a report on the nightly news that some odd pokemon were heard howling deep within the forest recently.” Keith announced while chopping at a carrot.
‘Really?’ a dark smirk appeared across Max’s lips, not that the eevee pokemorph could see it from where he was focusing on chopping up a large Kelpsy berry.
“Mm-hmm. They’re more than likely a wild pack that is just passing through, but all the same, be careful.” Max implored while chopping at a large red berry.
‘We will, right, Sparkle?’ the jolteon barked happily in reply.
When the sound of the front door opening and closing was heard throughout the house Keith breathed a sigh and then turned to look at his fairy type eeveelution. “We should hurry.” Peter barked and then began stirring the batter within the bowl in front of him a little bit faster.
