And this is an older illustration of Mari and her splendid wings. I went through a series designs to figure out exactly how Mari was going to look, what colors to use, etc. But, I finally went with this color scheme for her. Mari is a bright and cheerful girl and I felt yellow complimented that trait nicely, while the soft brown gave her a bit of warmth while the green eyes and wine colored hair offer something alluring :-)

Also, this design used the nose "bump" that I originally started out with and that I may return to. ^__~
