...well, I was at work the other day and had a break. I decided to try and sketch a little and wanted to work on Mari a little bit. I wanted to do something in the way that I did with Miele. Except, with butterflies, the dance isn't to identify location of flowers, it would be to attract a mate...a mating dance, I suppose. Mari has no mate and isn't really looking for one, but she's found to the eyes of many males to be extremely desirable and highly sought after. In this picture, Mari's sporting her hair long. Her mother encourages her little girl to wear her hair long as it's so appealing, but Mari likes it short because she likes feeling the breeze on along as much of her skin as she can. But, it makes her mother happy so for mating dances, she allows her hair to grow out and partakes in the dance.

The butterfly dance is very fluent, sensual and graceful. The females wear semi-transparent gown and veils to seduce their potential suitors. This is just a rough sketch and I'm not wholly happy with it. I'll have to try again, sooner or later! ^__^ ...I guess the next time I get a break. ...speaking of work, I'd better get going. See ya!
