And the race is ON!
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Ready? GO! The Kindle version of Beneath the Skin should be ready within 24 hours. AND I chopped the price down to $7.99 so more people can enjoy it. It might become available 5 minutes from now, it might be tomorrow, it might even be a little later than that. I don't yet have a link for it, but I'll post one when it becomes available.
The print version was held back by two or three days so I could get a copy to Kensuke that has his name on the cover. I had to resubmit and order another proof to accomplish that, but it was the right thing to do. He added immeasurably to the story, so he needed to be recognized as much as Amazon's cover creation rules would permit. Again, I'll post a link to the paperback version when it becomes available.
Here's the BIG bonus! I've always believed that if I already own a book I shouldn't have to pay for an electronic copy, so if you order a paperback copy, I have arranged for you to get the Kindle version for FREE! That's doesn't make smart business sense for me because I make more of a commission from the Kindle version than I do from the print, but I'm not really doing this for the money anyway.
So go forth! ENJOY! And let me know how you liked it! :-)

Congrats, big boy!
Also, Ken is still moping around saying that he could have done better, the silly lion :-P
-TGU.
I love your story.
I find the formatting disappointing. Justified. No text indent. Paragraphs separated by some white space (half a line?). Times New Roman. Oh well.
I can see it in my mind's eye: ragged left, Brioso Pro Medium, 1.5em indent, no paragraph margins. Maybe a hint of color on the chapter titles -- chocolate brown on spring green in Brioso Pro Display -- light rather than normal or bold. Bleed the green out to display edges.
Book formatting geek will go away now.
So you have at least one Kindle sale at this point ;-)

Except for the color thing. That would have made this book $500 a copy!
Mockups (surprisingly hard) done. Enjoy. Color ... well, yes, color would be not-for-print, certainly. But I had thought you could have a seperate Kindle edition. Or maybe that would mean two ISBNs. Dunno enough about it.
Cheers,

I did try reformatting the book in a different font, and it ended up being about 20% more pages. Apparently TNR is very space efficient.
