Obviously I'm not very skilled at drawing, but it is something I'm working on. Afterall, I have started watching some artists when they were just beginning and they're not some of my favorite artists. Most of all, I need to work on their paws and their heads, so I'll have to practice that a lot more.

These two characters are Yukiomaru Arekusanda, the arctic fox, and Jun Fa, the pine marten. They both star in my story series Legacy of the Veiled Stars, where they grow to become unshakable friends. After all the events of the story (so that means spoilers ahead), Yukiomaru attempted to go find some peace after everything he suffered through. Those events had left him stranded with two friendly alien races, but he was so worried about how Jun might feel with his sudden disappearance and nearly total destruction of his ship.

For days Yukiomaru attempted to set off his emergency beacon to let Jun Fa know that he survived the crash at the very least. After he had finally set off the beacon, it didn't take very long for Jun to answer the call and arrive personally at the scene. Under the supervision of the cautious aliens, Jun was escorted to quarantine. When Yukiomaru figured out that Jun was there, he disregarded the safety precautions and immediately went to Jun.

A total emotional breakdown of Yukiomaru was the result when he saw Jun again, and they held each other in their arms for an unknown amount of time until Yukiomaru was so exhausted that he passed out. When Yukiomaru would wake again, he'd find that all of his worries and stresses about the events he suffered through were nothing compared to the loss of his best friend. He'd never risk it again.
