Awesome! I bet a lot of us wish we could say that!

Some people pay more for a down payment than I paid for my house. I got it as a foreclosure for $44K which isn't bad for a 3 bed room ranch with a full walk out basement on 10.5 acres. There were some great deals out 5 years ago. Plus the Pittsburgh housing market is one of the most reasonable in the country.

Since it was a foreclosure it was almost impossible to get a mortgage on so I had to pay cash. There were small things about it that disqualified it for a loan. But it was in livable condition when I bought it. Just needed some TLC, but it was structurally sound.
