Because it's very risky, and would have similar complications to hormonal methods. Many people forget that spaying and neutering also effect hormonal balances within the body which can potentially increase the risk of heart conditions.

Does it affect humans the same way as it does animals? Is there a history of this been done in Tina's world to both humans and hybrids alike without the risks mentioned here? There are positives and negatives to all methods and knowing all the choices/options they have, yes including neutering and spaying, they can make the best choice for themselves.

I am speaking from experience as my mother had the procedure when i was younger and that's even with a family history on the female side of severe heart conditions. not less than a year after that she had to be admitted into hospital due to heart problems and investigations into it found the procedure she had as the trigger. So saying it doesn't have risks and ''some doctors like to use that as a scare tactic'' is honestly a load of bull.

So am I. My mother also had her tubes tied and had no ill effects at all. I am trying to get mine tied as well and have no hesitations at all about wanting it done.

There are lots of things that doctors say to turn down ladies that want the procedure or to scare them away from it. I know this.

Not everyone reacts the same, but there should be no issues. All they are doing is cutting the tubes and cauterizing them... or putting a coil inside to create scar tissue, or crimping them closed with clamps. That does not affect hormone production. That is the job of the ovaries, and they are left alone in tubal ligation surgery.
