Dream a Little Dream of Me
So, I got some new headphones yesterday, and was eager to try them out on a project. I happened to be talking to Gruffy at the time, and he requested this song. I found a suitable karaoke track (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j15LvNekWIo) and recorded it right away.
I'm mostly satisfied with the recording, despite the fact that I don't have a decent compression, equalization, de-esser, or...well...any plugins... or a good DAW for that matter. I managed to clean up the vocals pretty well, so hopefully it's not too bad. :P

Well, if a new pair of expensive headphones is what it takes to sound like this, sign me up! *chuckle*
It was very soft and husky - my most familiar manly version of the song is Michael Bublé's and he definitely sings into his nose, which you don't do,so...the reaction is mostly..."hmmmm, nice" :P
