The paladin laughed.
"Why, adventurers practically attract disasters! I'd have plenty of those to avert while working with you."
He glanced self-consciously at his shield and bracer, then gave a wry smile.
"I'd get ample opportunity to obtain more gear as well."

Absol is difficult enough to draw without armor... I'm actually surprised that I didn't screw up the one bracer, klutz that I am. XD
