It's never been easy being Cindy Vanderspot. Both her parents, Dilly and George Vanderspot, are firefighters and take different shifts at the station they work at. So 95 percent of the time, Cindy only has one parent to look after her. This kind of lifestyle has been hard on Dilly and George as well; sometimes they worry that they might be letting their daughter down by not being there when she needs them. So it's moments like this that allow Cindy, Dilly, and George to just get together and talk about things; but more importantly, to enjoy being together as a family.
