Nicholas x Shine: Halloween
So now we continue the story and I've got to say I love how her costume came out. There is also a song with a link to it so check it out if you want. It's worth the listen.

Halloween Party
The night for the party came. Shine was waiting to be picked up by Nicholas. He knew where the vixen lived as she had told the fosky that information. Right now it found her dressed as a witch. Not an evil one, but somewhat a good one. It was to be noted that her cleavage was a bit exposed and the same applied to the legs. The colors of the outfit went with the color of her hair while there was a necklace that brought out the color of her eyes. To complete the costume there was a wand but no broomstick.
Shine couldn't help but fidget a bit as she stood in the entrance of the apartment building the vixen lived in. The female had never been this nervous to go to a party before. Of course Nicholas hadn't been the one picking her up. And he wasn't your everyday guy. The female just straightened her hat out while trying to clear her head. Suddenly a knock on the door made Shine jump. Looking up saw he was here. The fosky was wearing some kind of wizard robes with a hat and magic sword. On his face was a grin. The vixen fumbled a bit trying to get the door open but managed.
"Heeerre's Nicky!" the male said with a grin. Shine couldn't help but smile as she knew what he was trying to do. "So then… you ready?"
The vixen nodded and he led her to the car. They got in and were soon on their way. "So… where are we going?" Shine asked.
"It's to the house of one of my friends who you met at the beach," Nicholas explained. "They have enough room for something like this."
"Okay." The two were then silent a bit since both young species weren't sure how to break the ice at the moment. Luckily it wasn't much longer until they arrived at the house. They could see the lights on along with decorations including a glowing orange balloon tied to the mailbox.
"Here we are," the fosky said and stopped the car.
"This is it?" Shine asked.
"Of course. For one thing I know the place. But another is the balloon over there."
"Why?"
"In ace you didn't know, a balloon tied to a mailbox is one of the international symbols for 'party over here!'"
The vixen let out a laugh and the two got out. Both walked to the door but he then stopped with a smile and his left paw out. "So shall we my lady?" Shine just smiled up at him and her arms went around his left. The vixen just couldn't resist the fosky's charm and kindness. Those words made her feel like a princess that he would take care of.
Nicholas rang the doorbell and soon they were both in. There were others here in a variety of costumes; not one was the same. The female just stayed close to the male canine hybrid the whole time. While nothing happened like at the beach with guys checking her out, she and Nicholas would occasionally have their tails brush against the other or their paws touching. You see after they had gone in they had let go of their arms. While Shine wished it could happen again, she took these little touches for now. At least there was good food and drink plus a number of others to interact with. Everyone else thought the vixen looked good in her costume and made comments. Some of them, and usually it was the females, giggled saying how cute she was with Nicholas. Poor Shine blushed but let these comments slide.
At some point during this everyone was just sitting around and talking. That is until somebody brought their attention to the karaoke machine in the living room. Shine thought it would be fun to watch so she and Nicholas went over. Some of the guests went first and then the fosky turned to her. "How about it Shine?" he asked. "Feel like singing?"
"Oh no!" she exclaimed, covering her face with her paws and blushing somewhat. "I can't sing!"
"Okay then," the male replied with a chuckle. "Then watch me." He left her side after giving the female a squeeze. Shine watched him walk up and take the mike that was attached to a stand. After choosing the song, he waited for it to come on. The song that played was Pride and Joy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vo23H9J8o8).
The vixen had never heard of this before but the rest had. Some of the guests looked to each other with smiles as the male closed his eyes. It was like he was up on stage about to sing this. Shine in the meantime looked on at him, not knowing where this would go. Then he began to sing.

Shine couldn't believe just how good Nicholas's sounded. She looked on with a dreamy look in her eyes as her heart melted watching the fosky. The lyrics also stood out in her mind. Everything about them with her being the baby mentioned in this song and him being the lover boy ran through the female's mind.

The song went on for a bit but then it ended with everyone clapping. Shine had a big smile on her muzzle, the same look in her eyes, the same thing happening with her heart. He came over to the vixen with a goofy grin. "Well? How was that?" the male asked.
Shine couldn't help but hug him. "You sounded so good," she whispered. "I loved it." It was the first time the vixen had hugged the fosky and felt his arms go around her as well. It felt so warm and nice.
"I'm glad." The two then stayed to the side while others took a turn singing.
It wasn't much longer after this that the party broke up. The vixen was driven back by the fosky. The two talked a bit about what had happened but were silent once again. He walked her to the door of the apartment and they stopped. "Well… guess this is it for now…" Nicholas whispered, blushing like her.
"Yeah…" Shine replied softly while looking down. The male reached out and with one finger traced behind her right ear and down her cheek. The female looked up while he did this.
"Goodnight Shine…"
"Goodnight Nicholas…" The female watched him get in his car and drive off. The two went to their beds that night easily falling asleep, their dreams filled with thoughts of the other. If anything they were closer than ever before.

I'd say things will really start to heat up two months from now.
