Thanks for your patience folks. It took me a long while of soul-searching but I finally did figure out exactly WHY I burnt out in the first place, and it primarily had to do with the fact I was doing work for everyone but myself. When you get to feeling like an art slave, it's not a long way to fall before your self-worth becomes entangled with your production.
So, for 2020, I'm definitely going to be taking back a little control, doing more work that reflects who -I- am and what -I- like.
I think a big problem I've had in the past is that nobody really knows me. Yes, part of that is because I have to protect my professional identity, but the other part is I've just been this art making machine... I've had very few opportunities to express myself.
