Bold is incredibly brave like his father. But he often has more bravery than common sense, which would get him into trouble many times throughout his life. But after Bold has left White Deer Park, he has had to live a pretty rough and tough life outside the nature reserve. But despite the hard life, he got to meet a female badger, Shadow, who was rescued from a human trap, and also a black crow, Robber, who got to accompany Bold's journey and adventures.

Until he and Robber came to humans town. There he could search for food. Until one beautiful day he met a beautiful red vixen who lives in the humans town. Her name is Whisper, she is very wise and understanding. Bold thinks Whisper is so over-the-top beautiful. Although she despises him at first, upon learning of his injured right hind leg and unable to jump over the wall, she began to feel sorry for Bold.

To the difference Bold's mother, she helps Bold and convinces him to accompany her home to her fox den and stays with her and hunts together every night. And Bold's friend, Robber, reneged on their deal and lets Bold stay with Whisper. She eventually accepts him as her mate when she learns that he is the son of the famous Farthing Wood Fox. Bold was very in love with the beautiful vixen, feel so happy.

Even Whisper thinks Bold is both handsome and cute. Despite his injured hind leg and a scar by his left eye on his face, she was still in love with Bold. But when she became pregnant later, they travel back to White Deer Park so her cubs can live in safety with Bold's family. Halfway there, they stopped for a while and rested a little, and she nuzzle under his chin so softly and he enjoying the romantic moment.

Whisper: "You're both brave and cute fox, Bold. And you're my type too, sweetheart."
Bold: "Mmmhh... And you are both beautifully and gorgeous vixen I have seen and met you, Whisper."
