Tea is Served
This illustration, done by J.W. Kennedy, shows two of the characters seen in "The Thin Line" and the successor stories. At right is Prince Roland, Marshal of Faerie and commander-in-chief of the Imperial and Royal Army. He is also Cpl. Westersloe Winterbough's direct superior, as the Marshal uses him for various missions. At left is the Marshal's aide, Sgt. Wing. The sparrow serves a number of functions; serving the all-important tea and baked goods is by no means the least of these
