Chapter Eight: Flashbacks and Flashfowards, Part Two

War is hell, and the Outsiders currently believed themselves to be in what they through would be the worst part of it. Sadly, nothing they had seen before or after would ever compare.

“Wake up Finn, the world needs you again.” Visions of light piercing through the fog covered cold and lifeless glass layer interspaced Finn’s vision as he grabbed Michelle’s foot and pulled her into the office of the theater. It all went by so fast, his heart beating quicker than it had ever before, his vision being blurred as he turned and saw himself surrounded by friends and previous enemies.

“Someone on your team is lying to you, they are not as loyal as it seems.” Finn looked over and as he looked through the crowd, he saw his team. Isaac and Iren started to walk over, and looking down Michelle and Tidus next to her, he was already ripping off her dress sleeve and using it to wipe up blood. Light glared through the window of the office and then he ducked, blue flashes shot in shattering the glass and breaking it.

“Get to the second floor!” Screaming above the panic, Basil’s voice shot through the crowd and ever Riftwalker looked over and started to rush, somewhere Ignatius was in the crowd, the bastard was doing nothing. Then again neither was anyone, only one good Riftwalker grabbed the leg of Michelle and helped Tidus carry her.

Ducking under the cover of the wall, Finn looked over to Isaac and nearly fell on him as they got to the stairs.

“Oh god, this can’t be happening. Why did they have to do this, we need to defend this place. Ross and Barry, I’m so sorry.” Finn breathed and then Isaac looked at him. Finn gasped for air and then looked down, both of them did. Blood splattered on his suit right above his right arm. They looked at each other for a moment and then Finn realized what was happening.

The child like look of almost sheer immortality was wiped of his face, he grasped for the wound. Grabbing onto it as blood started to almost flood out, Finn realized in the heat of the moment when he grabbed Michelle, he was shot. He didn’t feel it, he couldn’t speak, but he did not the feel it.

“Ok, just calm down. Michelle was shot in the chest and we can probably keep her alive as well.” Isaac raised his hands and placed them on Finn’s left shoulder, holding him still and dragging him behind the wall of the stairwell, it wasn’t going to help for him to fall into the bullet hailstorm again. “Now then you’re shot in the shoulder and we can cover that wound, so don’t be a baby about it.”

Finn’s heart was racing at a million miles per hour, he felt the entire world pass him by clouds speed past him and the desert wind knock him over like a hurricane, the entire world was going so much faster than he could ever imagine.

“And I realize this might steam from never getting your ass kicked, but you’re going to man up and you will man up fast. I might not be a doctor but I am a damn well scientist if you would remember, I can fix both of you. Now you can either help me save Michelle or kill her.” Isaac stated as he leaned Finn against the wall and walked away. Isaac reached over his head and removed his tie and undid his jacket, throwing it to the side.

“Ok, Michelle, now then I know this might sound hard but I need you to breath slowly and carefully.” Isaac saw where they took Michelle, to the bathroom, it was shielded behind another wall and walking in, he took a look around, a few Riftwalkers and Tidus gathered around her. He saw they took the first aid kid off the ground.

“Ok Tidus, you keep her calm and breathing, if she starts to get blue tell me, do as I say and she’ll live, one of you stay the rest of you have wars to fight, I recommend those not fond of blood leave.” With the wit of Robert Picardo, Isaac walked forward and looked down.

“Now then Michelle, I am sorry but we are going to have to work a bit higher than your boob, if you don’t like it sue me, but remember I am saving your life.” Isaac started to kneel and reached around her, he felt blood but he also felt her zipper and grabbing it he started to unzip it.

“Come on Michelle just slow down your breathing.” Tidus encouraged her as she started to gasp for air. Isaac looked as he just pulled her dress down and saw the wound, blood leeched into her clothes. The shot was closer to her left shoulder than her heart.

“Ok, she is shot in the lung. Now then a quick lesson in psychics, the lung is a bag surrounded by another bag, now then when the lungs compress air in this case the working right one, they are reducing the pressure of the fluid in this second bag.” Isaac looked into the medical kit and found a bit of alcohol, putting that onto a pad and placing onto the shot for a few seconds, he then reached into his pocket all while reaching for scissors in the nearby medical kit.  He pulled a little foil package out of his pocket.

“I’m not sure this is the right time for that.” Tidus confused looked up as Isaac tore the package and revealed the condom, with the scissors he cut out a square shaped piece.

“Perfect time, now then the hole will bring in air, which will push up against the lung and its already happening, she’s starting to choke as her left lung is pushed up and the wound in it is bleeding over the trachea into the right, so we need to stop the crushing with this.” Isaac pushed her clothes out of the way and with a piece of tape, glued down the condom to Michelle’s chest on all but one side. “Observe, and give her a few rescue breaths.”

As Michelle breathed out, suddenly the condom piece was pulled down against the hole. Isaac had formed a valve on the shot wound, still he wasn’t done, he felt blood on the ground and she hadn’t bled over yet.

“Now then very careful when we do this.” Isaac grabbed over her and Tidus helped him as they flipped her over. As she was taken off the floor, he quickly put his hand over her back and then as she was flipped, he showed his work. A hole out her back, larger than the entrance hole. He started again with the condom and handed it over to Tidus.

“Ok hold this down, we only need to keep the vacuum going and floor wasn’t doing so well. Still need to keep lung fluid inside but the pneumothorax should be able to handle everything, still she is internally bleeding but that might clog on its own.” Isaac tapped down the condom to her back hole and sealed it with tape, he looked at Tidus and then down at Michelle.

“How the hell do you know that?” Tidus asked filled with a little bit of amazement as he looked up at the man. Isaac leaned over and grabbed some gauze and tape from the kit again.

“I’m a fucking miracle worker, but all in all, I browse Reddit late at night, and if you ever need a pc built or a quick fix for pie call me. But in all seriousness if she starts to cough up blood or go blue get me, she is highest on his triage.” Isaac ran out of the room and looked, outside on the stretched balcony, luckily made with solid metal fencing, Riftwalkers were taking aim down on the nanobot army and it looked like something was happening.

“Ok back to you, now then you two mortals are on highest priority, the Riftwalkers probably have some sort of internal defense system and the Kagens can regenerate.” Isaac walked over to Finn and put his hand over the shark’s shoulder, and then suddenly the bullet was ripped out of his shoulder. “You’ll be fine don’t bitch about it.”

Isaac quickly rolled a bit of gauze and stuffed it inside the shark’s wound, looking at it he placed another layer over it and then taped it down, Finn whimpered a bit and then looked down at his wound, he was okay. His heart slowed down and his vison normalized out as his flight or fight responses kicked off.

“And the best part about this is I’m going to end up in the newspaper and you’re not, maybe a plan B would be a paramedic or an EMT, I live for this kind of work all day every day.” Isaac smiled as he walked away from Finn and started to walk over towards a fallen Riftwalker.

“Well, well, well, look at you stuck on the ground, where the hell have you been all this time.” Koji spoke, his eyes piercing through the fog of the kitchen. Bright looked ahead again and then the fog was gone, only the red glow of eyes. Rolling over as he felt his hearts struggle to pump blood, he could just feel himself cling onto his life.

“And this one will be painful, you might have caused the recentralization of the Kagens but there is still a price in blood that will be paid.” Koji walked around and laughed a bit, his hand floating through the kitchen counter as he walked by. The Kagen shark groaned as he put his hands on his chest. “All the trouble you caused to me and my friends in all those universes, the dragon emperor?”

“Oh yeah, kind of forgot that bit there. It’s all sort of blending together now at this sort of age, then I again trying to blow up Las Vegas with a nuclear reactor isn’t helping you is it.” Bright groaned as he adjusted himself against the kitchen counter and trusting his back on it, he leaned on the stable platform. He watched as the man before him freely paced around.

“You see the Kagens first time around have a tendency to lose it, so built into your code is the ability to call for support, but with your heart going wild you mind is screwing up.” Koji laughed as he walked over, suddenly he turned into Eric, and then Erick, and then Jackson, then Rickston Frame, Greg and a black wolf. “Can’t find that last one as well, seems your mind is picking from the future as well.”

“Oh great, I probably will forget this either way. So no need to worry about me setting off some kind of time paradox.” Bright groaned as he reached up and grabbed the edge of the counter, if he could stand up then maybe he could reach his other Kagens through the door.

“I am a guide or am I some sort of phantom designed to give you a horrible time, make you revive all your bad memories and come face to face with everyone who hurt you just like what I did.” The wolf said, a different voice, Bright tried to recognize it but it was completely alien to his ears.

“But let’s settle on something you might see soon.” And then he turned into a shark, his cheeks plump and wearing a black hoodie looked high school aged and looked like he was an Outsider. He was unrecognizable still, and he had no idea what was happening.

“So then what is it with you and little high school aged kids, someone might say you have quite the hell of a fetish. So then you came to New York, and you helped me and Ronan and then it all screwed up.” Dustin walked forward and got on his knees looking at the nearly broken man. Bright coughed, blood splattering out his mouth and onto the floor.

“Wow then, you might want to get some help with that. Too bad I am just a figment of your imagination, but you can’t hear me can you?” Dustin asked as he shook his hand and then as it was Bright bent down and coughed up more blood onto the floor. Dustin groaned and walked away from the Kagen.

“You were always bad with time, but you could have changed that fact and it could have started here. Imagine you saving him.” Dustin taunted as he stood up and in a flash of light his body was changed and switched out with a lizard. Eyes blank and pale, this lizard was blind. Colin walked over. “Can you see me now, because I can see you for who you really are.”

“And so can I.” Standing up again he transformed back into a shark, this time thinner and wearing a large fur jacket, told him it was Benji. Bright groaned but started to cough on his own blood. “Come on you can spit it up, I always let you do that, but enough with that. Leaving me behind, and we were doing so well.”

“You appear a hundred years to the date and I had gathered all my friends at the portal as well. Sure they got some good readings off the portal but what use it that if it all appears like I have terrible immortal friends.” Benji put out his hands and looked down on Bright in his flamboyant style, looking down and putting his hands on the shark’s chest, tried to wake him up.

Bright coughed up more blood and came to attention as he leaned down and allowed the precious crimson liquid to spill over the floor and make a proper mess, he looked up at Benji and groaned a bit. This was not the reunion he was exactly hoping for.

Bright felt his hands slip and he fell on the floor, the blood just acting like a terrible lube in this case. He looked up and saw in the reflection of a pot pan, the Kagens through the window. In the dining hall they all seemed to be located, even as energy bullets and real bullets bounced off the metallic walls of the building they stood their cowering. Benji laughed a bit.

“Well then look at your little experiment.” And then Benji was once again engulfed in a light and this time turned into a hybrid creature, a shark dressed in a windbreaker with large draconic wings spreading out his back. Bright groaned again as he turned over and blasted out a few more pints of blood.

“Remember me, fighting me in the forest. You let me live and now I can be your worst enemy, and I just cause the worse fantasies don’t I. Sleep must have evaded you so much.” Basil taunted as he glowed again and turned back into Benji, the shark putting his hand to mouth and gasping for a bit more of the dramatic flair that he was known for. “Well then if I had known you been a whore, well there be no difference.”

“Hell are you talking about.” Bright groaned as he looked up and wondered what the hologram was getting off about with loving Benji. He barely had a feeling of love for that shark. “The one thing I felt besides high in that day was more than an ounce of respect for Benji, I feared him but he feared me as well.”

“Oh well look at that.” This time he changed, he was a lizard now. Looking back at himself and his reflection in the shiny pot he smiled. Greg was standing before him and this time showing his personality he bent down and slapped Bright, of course neither of them could interact with each other. “Made you flinch.”

“You dick, you ruined Benji’s life and if I could kill you for trying to kill Nathan and succeeding with Elliot then I would do so with my bare hands.” Bright threatened coughing up blood as he did. Bright fell back to the ground and scratched at the floor.

“Oh shame, it would have been so fun to fight you had you not been a pot head at the time.” Greg smiled, and looked away and back towards the Kagens.

“You know I wasn’t a pot head all the time back then, I was an omnicidal maniac just two months or so before then, but I can’t remember how long and I just defeated that argument.” Bright groaned as he pulled himself back up on the counter and then spat out blood again, looking down to his hands he groaned as he felt a sharp pain in his chest.

“Fell the pain because you turned the Kagens away from their true calling, you ruined then and you domesticated them. You turned them into animals and how bad you should have felt on that. But this pain will do. Sometimes I just want to see the world burn.” Greg smiled as he glowed again and this time turned into the figure of a rich man, with a suit and place to be.

“Ah sorry I’m just here for the money and because he is here, let’s see who else is here?” Rickston stalled as he looked over to the shark and realized that he didn’t have any beef against the shark so starting to pace, he walked around the kitchen, walking around the kitchen brick and then appearing again this time as a toucan in a dress.

“Ah Molly so many feelings in her, but what do I represent. I could be Sam, Elliot or this form, all little girls that were killed because of your actions.” Molly said as she leaned down crossing her legs as she did and smiling.

“To be fair, I think that is a sexist argument, my old self didn’t care if you were male or female if you were alive then you should have been dead.” Bright debunked as he watched and saw Molly turn into what would hopefully be her last form, he needed to regenerate already.

“And look at me, I am just wonderful.” Twilight, dimensional Twilight said as he put his arms out and spread out in a circle. Laughing a bit for the hell of it, Bright rolled his eyes, how did Koji not punch this idiot? “Now look at you, look at what you did by combining us all.”

“Yeah we turned out better because of it, we haven’t all found pots of gold because of it but if we can just try the best we can and make an attempt to carry on.” Bright groaned as he rolled over and started to drip blood out of his nose, he definitely was going to die, that was his worst thought.

“Oh really now you’re quoting Styx again, but either way look at this. This war is your fault and this entire wedding is your fault.” Twilight smiled and looked down at Bright, the shark needed to die. Bright groaned and pushed himself back up to the face the figment of his thoughts.

“Oh really, I don’t see myself as being blamable because of a wedding that is generally one thing that you celebrate, but then again you cried when you watched The Proposal.” Bright retorted as he looked up and saw that he pushed the old Twilight’s buttons in just the right way like he could.

“Shut up that was a great film, but the jig is up, the noose is out for you and you are the man who had it made, medammit, now I’m doing it as well. Either way if Octavius hadn’t been nice enough to take pity in you then you would be dead long ago for this.” Twilight taunted and then he glowed. This time he turned into a shark with a blue necklace.

“No I didn’t mean Octavian, and by extension myself, god you better forget most of this.” Octavian grabbed his necklace and then transformed again back into Twilight before looking over and then smiling, and then suddenly he glowed again, this time a set of wings appeared, scaling in all.

Fire appeared out of his mouth and the Kagen smiled as he looked down towards Bright’s little dying pity, all the while nanobots marched outside, the sun just bouncing off their bodies as they walked over. Bright watched, somebody was fighting them, he needed to fight, he needed to show the Kagens they could fight and he needed to regenerate, his hands started to glow.

“Die Kagen, and then the others in the room behind will not need to know of their death at robotic hands, you are a shame and you should die.” Dawn said as he smiled and opened his mouth, sharp teeth in all, and then the door slammed open.

“Well then with all this gun fire we might not escape with all this happening around us.” Ross joked as he looked over the edge of the theater and looked across to see the advancing army through the wedding hall. Balloons popped as the army advanced and even with what seemed to be back up coming from the office they were still advancing.

“Yeah and I think Billy here is going to need some help soon, if we don’t get out here then he might have some damages.” Barry commented and put his hand on the dragon’s head. His body was fighting against something and it wasn’t pretty, Barry couldn’t say anything anytime he tried to do something it just came out garbled.

“Well we can’t have damages, but we can exactly fight against the nanobots can we.” Ross looked over and saw a separate sect of nanobots approaching the lowered theater, they were coming for him, he could feel it he knew that much and he was going to have to run with Billy or fight for Billy.

“Well then it wouldn’t be so that you happen to have the exact thing I told you not to bring with you that might be called a vile of nanobot fluid.” Ross commented as he looked over to Barry and saw the man flash a tiny vile in his hands of course did.

“Well I can’t help with that, but I think I might have to accept that we’re going to sink with our enemies to fight on equal ground and that is way more than a feeling to me.” Ross commented as he ducked down and hid them behind the seat of the theater, the marching in his ear became louder and louder as they approached, taking the normal way and coming down through a set of sets on both sides.

The metallic covered warriors gathered on the stage at the bottom of the lowered theater and they stood there. They stopped firing and laying down against the seat, Ross was pretty sure he couldn’t be seen but that was of course a completely stupid question if they wanted to kill him he would have been dead.

They were playing a game with him of course they were, this is what it was to them all a little game to play. So what better than to do a little theater. Keeping quiet, Ross listened and hear them stop as they reached the bottom of the stage. Only one more set of footsteps remained and then as they reached the bottom, Ross wondered if they were home free.

“So then if Forged Steel could stand up and come over here because we would like to congratulate you on your engagement, I wonder who the bitch is because we have a gift for him as well.” The voice rang through his and Barry’s ears, it was the idiot, it was Flashpoint, and Frostbite as well it seemed.

They stood at the stage and smiled, and like that Ross knew he was going to have to make an appearance. He looked over to Billy who seemed to be begging for him not to go, the blue dragon put his hand on Ross’s chest and looking down Ross smiled as he grabbed the hand and looked down.

“I have to fight, I have to do this but once this ends, we can share the night.” Ross promised as he kissed the hand and then he stood up. Walking behind Billy and Barry he made sure not to make them obvious as he walked to the middle of the aisle and looked down, he was facing the two and their army.

“Ah good you have shown up, how does it feel to be the least useful Outsider of all time.” Frostbite smiled as he watched the Outsider and then he saw the vile.

“Great because I can do this and surprise the hell out of you.” Ross put his hand out and the vile was put into his hand. Putting up to his upper arm, the dragon closed his eyes and then thrusted it in. The liquid drained into his arm and the Outsider felt his body change.

Throwing the vile to the ground and looking around Ross started to walk forward putting his hand forward as he took a step, it changed into metal, liquid metal, it was completely liquid. The Outsider smiled and then he jumped ahead, his entire body changed into metal and like that, he flew through the air.

With nanobots he flew forward and then putting his hand forward he reformed on stage and formed a sword in his hand, it was right on Flashpoint’s Chin and then he trusted it. Ross smiled as he watched the head rip off, and like that the inferior generation one was turned into his components.

“You bastard! you killed him!” Frostbite screamed as he looked as Ross, the Outsider smiled and turned his sword arm towards Frostbite. He jumped forward and slashed forward, doing a flip in mid-air he slashed through the nanobot.

Nanobots spilled out onto stage and were absorbed into the sand, both of them dying Ross looked at the other two and knew there were still two hundred or two thousand left to fight, but he was going to. Barry stood up and a gun forming in his hand, a few blasts flew down from the top and stuck out some nanobots.

“So then strike mate, that’s what happen when you ruin my wedding, and you will pay for that.” Ross warned the nanobots and then he jumped forward, slashing his sword into the metal body, he had blood on his hand but who cared this was his revenge and this was blood he wanted. He slashed forward and cut through the nanobots, he made up his mind, he wasn’t wasting no more time.

Like a cyborg ninja with the power of electricity control, Ross jumped forward and slashed through the nanobots. One impaled on his blade and throwing it off it hit the ground and turned into a million a little nanobots spreading out like marbles.

“So then you want to do this, because we are the Outsiders and we can do this because we can do this!” Ross screamed as he twisted on his feet cutting through a nanobot and slicing in half. Running forward, he lengthened the blade and impacted on one and then two and then three, and then four, they all dissolved on his sword.

“Yeah we can do this, we can fight because we can reach any star!” Barry put his hand forward and unafraid, blasted forward as the winds of change blasted on the amphitheater and blew up a little storm. Ross looked around and felt good about this change, this was the change they needed.

“Preach, we can fight because like Finn said we got faith of heart and if only the reporters could be here to see the long road we’ve taken!” Ross declared and then looking off into the distance he heard something with his special ears, ignoring it he jumped up and slashed through another bot.

They all gathered on him and pushed him through, as they gathered around, Ross found himself struggling. As they pushed against him, grabbing his arm, Ross found himself unable to stab. They grabbed him and then pushed him against the stage wall.

“Die Outsider and I will be promoted to greatness.” The nanobot in front of him threatened as it raised a fist and that changed into a spiriting gun on the inside the glowing core of an energy field. The metallic dragon struggled as he found his sword caught and as the nanobot fired, Ross remembered.

“Sorry new powers!” Ross covered his entire body in a layer of metal and like that the blast reflected off. The nanobot was blown back through the air, he flew into the air and hit the ground breaking apart like millions of tiny marbles on the ground. Smiling Ross looked at Barry and saw as the encounter suit covered komodo blasted away his fair share as well.

“Come on all of you, you’ll have to do better than that!” Ross yelled as he stabbed forward and then slashed to the right, puncturing through and knocking aside most of the other nanobots. He saw an opportunity and took it, jumping off the stage and landing on the first row of seats.

“Ok, a sword works pretty well on you guys so then do we have any other suggestions on what else I can use on you?” Ross asked as he held up his hand and the metallic sword turned back into the scaly hand of the Outsider. He smiled as he finally felt some sort of victory. Maybe a forcefield could kept the nanobots out next time.

“Hammer!” Barry cried out as he blasted through a series of nanobots, firing them into the wall as they blasted apart. Looking forward he looked and smiled, it was amazing they were defeating these guys so easily. Pushing one forward he fired and then blasted it into pieces.

“Good idea mate!” Jumping forward, Ross crashed the newly formed metallic hammer into a nanobot. It smashed into one and slammed it down, pushing it back and knocked it into the crowd. Ross watched as he the nanobots pushed the single one back, Ross happily obliged and smashed the hammer into the man.

And then he clicked again this time is formed a shield with a point and it was a pointy point. Trusting forward, the nanobot it hit blasted into a million pieces and Ross looked around and shielded himself as the nanobots started to swarm on him again.

“Get back!” Ross yelled as he pushed them away and then watched. They flew away and crashed. And then he heard something, it felt like hell in his ears, looking up as suddenly the wind came down. A large gunship appeared, Ross watched as the gunship flew over and turned towards the stage.

“Get away they might confuse us for them!” Barry yelled as he started to run, Ross headed the advice and started to run as well. The barrel of the gun started to spin and both of them watched as the nanobots were decimated. Looking back, they knew this fight wasn’t over yet.

“Ok, let’s do something.” Finn looked as bullets flew toward window, he passed under the window and looked forward. Looking through into the battlefield it was all visible, he could see the whole battle. “Try to keep the nanobots together, they’re spreading apart and they might be able to run back!”

“Do you know what you are doing, you’re involving them in a war on your Earth, are you sure this isn’t something you just want to handle yourself.” Basil landed back in the building, holding his wound. He crashed down on the floor and stood up.

“And are you opposed to that?” Finn looked over watching as their mooks fought against each other. Riftwalkers getting shot and falling to the ground as another one came to replace him. Looking out Finn took a breath and felt a pain in his shoulder as he looked over.

“Just know I’ve fought in wars and I’ve seen how that changes people, be sure of what you want when you start fighting this war and end it, make sure the nanobots are disposed of. Also a bit ironic given what happened earlier.” Basil laughed a bit and then Finn looked around.

“This isn’t war this isn’t a fight against extinction.” Finn responded as he looked back at the shark and looked him in the eyes, this was the truth in his mind, this was the fight to keep the human race going. Basil smiled a bit, as if he higher ground, and looked down at the mortals.

“Oh you mortals, I won’t judge you for your little fight but know that this will how the world remember you.” Basil said with that sense of superiority.

“Isaac!” Suddenly the yelling of Tidus shot through the building, Finn and a few other Riftwalkers looked away for a second. The shark dashed and ducked under as he ran into the bathroom, looking forward he saw as Michelle was on the floor, her face becoming blue and her breaths becoming more and more erratic.

“What the hell!” Isaac yelled as he looked down and saw Michelle, suddenly she was grabbing onto something. In her hand her phone, it was on a contact information screen. Finn looked in and grabbed the phone out her hand, she gripped for it but he looked at the screen.

“Summon a gunship or two sounds like a good sort of fun, don’t worry we are going to fix this one way or another.” Finn leaned down and looked at Michelle she coughed and then she started to choke. Isaac reached down and felt the fresh blood on the ground.

“No!” Isaac screamed out, his voice echoing through the bathroom. “Her clothes, I forgot it. It was only skin tight for a second, her lungs are collapsing one is crushing the other is being torn apart!” Isaac yelled as he pushed Tidus out of the way and he was crashed into the stall. Tidus groaned and Isaac in a last dish effort grabbed onto Michelle’s mouth and started to push air into her lungs.

Blood splashed out of her mouth and then she turned herself, letting the blood leak out of her mouth. The lifeline crimson fluid spilling onto the ground and being wasted. Finn looked at her and placed his hand on her chest, her heart was stopping. The sounds of bullets and energy blasts in the back.

“Call the number and this war can be over in a second.” Michelle groaned as she looked forward. And then she stood up, opening her eyes suddenly her throat was clear. And the light was engulfing the room. Almost seemingly she was in zero gravity, but she could walk at the same time and she could feel fresh air enter her lungs but she wasn’t breathing.

“Come on Michelle, this won’t be the first or last death, so come into the light and join us. I’m sure you’d be delighted to meet Molly and Jackson.” Reaching out from the light, a reptilian hand grabbed out. Michelle tried to speak but found herself unable to do so. “Takes a while for the knowledge to transfer, you’ll speak later.”

Erick reached and Michelle looked behind, Finn looked destroyed as he looked down and felt her pulse. Could she go back, could she re-enter and could she try to survive, push herself. Leaning down she just put her hand on her corpse’s, it just barely phasing through.

And then she saw Finn smile for a second, his mouth opened and Michelle realized she wasn’t hearing anything but the sound of static in the background, it was like her ears were stuffed. She stood up and looked down at her body, it was still and lifeless.

“Come with us, sometimes we might have been useful but you will find that life is more interesting on the other side when you can see the spoilers before they are revealed.” Erick grabbed Michelle’s hand the human stood shocked as she looked down and felt something in her head.

“Really he did that.” Michelle suddenly felt her soul relieved everything made sense as she looked back at Finn. She was as free as a bird and she felt like she didn’t need to hide myself. “I can be who I want to be, I can do anything.”

“As is the nature of the afterlife, all you want will be given to you and all you need will be given as well. All is true and all is false, think of all you can meet, Mr. Washington or Mr. Patton.” Erick offer and Michelle nodded, like that she was pulled in and her connection with her body severed. She left her brain, her body a vehicle without someone controlling it.

Finn wasted no time hitting the call button and putting the phone to his head.

“Do it, kill all of the nanobots.” And in the background as he gave the command Isaac looked up to Finn and Tidus looked shocked. Hearing the sound of rockets starting in the background, Finn shut the call and looked away to the window. He was ready to blast everything.

“They were ready to do this, they killed her and we will make them pay for the future of my child I will make sure that the nanobots will die for this, they will be eradicated for this and they will be die.” Finn clenched his fist and stood up the room’s single light bulb exploded and the lights in other rooms started to pulse.

“Come Riftwalkers down to the battlefield we will make them pay!” Finn ran out the window, smashing through it and putting his hands forward. Lighting stuck down to the nanobots and blue thunder stuck out and jumped from each nanobot to nanobot as he put his hands forward and intended to finish them.

The electricity blasted through the nanobots and they fell to pieces, Finn felt relieved as he looked at the warriors falling to the ground. A blast flew at him and Finn moved his head to the left, avoiding it as it just screeched past his hair and to the building.

“You will have to try harder than that!” Finn ran forward and just touching his hand to the nanobot’s shoulder, he blasted it to pieces and again, up in the air he heard the sound of spinning rotors and knew the cavalry was coming.

Ross ran towards the kitchen and looked inside, the first side door was locked but the second was open. And walking forward he saw Bright. He was dying, but he was encased in an orange light. The Kagen extended his hand and Ross walked forward, and then he touched the Kagen.

“Oh!” Getting the attention of the Kagens in the other room and turning his hand into metal. Blasted off from his hand it splattered over the room and hit Bright, the shark groaned as it hit his chest and then dripped down. Bright looked down as the metal dripped into his chest.

“Oh god, make them fight for me if this goes crazy.” Bright stood up, energy filling his body as Ross backed up and the Kagen’s attention was dragged. Ross backed up, tiny lines of liquid metal tracing towards him and his body. Bright put his hands out and his head pointed up, and like that the regeneration energy almost corrupted into a red rust color.

Tiny flashes of electricity flashed out and then like that in one burst he changed, his body flashed into a straight metal color and then turned back to blue skin as his body changed. His body changed to a thin shape, his clothes nearly falling down his body.

Bright looked around and held his hand up, it changed to metal and then back around. He smiled at Ross and then looked back at the Kagens.

“They killed you, we will fight against the nanobots, we will fight as one!” General Zonate yelled out as he surprised Octavian. Quickly he ran out and then two more Kagens went, Bright glanced at the other ones and the other Kagens started to run out of the shelter.

“Well then let’s blast.” Bright adjusted his belt and nodded at Ross both of them smiled and then ran out. Watching around two large gunships floated above the amphitheater and from their undercarriage, both of them opened cargo doors.

“Move back and prepare for cluster blast, move back, I repeat move back for cluster blast!” Over the microphone on the gunship, the pilot smiled and clicked a bottom, Bright looked as the nanobots realized the battle might just have been lost and started to run away.

“They’re going, stop them, get revenge!” Bright yelled, he fired blasts at the escapers and knocked them over, if he had to make a pile of them, then so be it, it was going to be a better substitute for the Kagen-Riftwalker war and looking over he watched as Finn ran out leading Riftwalkers.

He then saw the sword strike the ground, behind him the ground shook as the cluster bomb fell.  The large device fell and blasted apart. The explosion blasted tons of mini bombs across the amphitheater and knocked nanobots into the air.

“Well this is what you have done.” Isaac covered his ears as the sweeping air pushed back a near shockwave. Finn looked forward as the bomb blasted a massive flaming cloud of fire into the sky. Looking around the Outsiders paused and watched as the nanobots collapsed down into their parts.

And even as they chased after the runners, they knew the battle was over, their revenge was over and their revenge was finished. Barry walked forward carrying Billy in his hand. Ross turned around standing at the end of the theater and walked over, Barry was smiling and looked.

“And sometimes people are taken away from us earlier than we expect but she fought valiantly and defended her friends and ideals and for that we should not be sad but we should be happy she died as she wished.” The priest said, and then like that he grabbed the first shovel and threw in dirt.

Everyone stood up, everyone smiling as they approached. Finn put on a somber face and grabbed the shovel as well, he looked down to the coffin and smiled hoping that Michelle was going to be happy. At least if they were sad, there was something happy to be about coming in the future.

Grabbing Iren’s hand, and Isaac’s she grabbed Ross’s and he grabbed Barry’s who in turn grabbed someone else’s and then like that the gathered crowd looked over her grave and looked down, somberly, she might have been dead but she was alive in their heart and that was worth something.

“So then all in love and his noodle appendages that I announce you as married husbands, you may now kiss.” Barry read out of the book and looked back at Ross and Billy. The dragons kissed each other, golden rings on their fingers. Lying in Billy’s hospital bed, the two of them kissed. Golden sunlight bathing them in a glowing light, Billy grabbed onto Ross and pulled him close and pulled him tight, they needed each other and so did everyone else.

“Well then you two look good enough but for now I think you can enjoy this peace, pasta la vista!” Barry closed the book and stood up walking out the room, opening the door and waving good-bye as he watched the married couple, peace for the two of them. And peace for Carson City all being threatened by one man and all being controlled by one man.

“So then the Kagens and Riftwalkers have made a treaty without my input, shame because I want to be in the room where it happens. We will stop this and we will join my little nanobots, because they have yet to learn the art of the compromise, they will pay seriously for this.”

“I know their every move, I have seen this and I know they will pay, because I will make them pay and the Outsiders will find their end one way or another because I will control all of this.” The nanomaster cloaked in shadow walked around his base and looked around, a few nanobots around. “I wonder if this will all happen, if all of this will work the way I want to.
