KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

Paper covered bricks of paper
Lie in the corner
Quiet and inert

Suddenly, the pages
burst into flame
Crackle and pop!
Until naught but ash remains

Out of the ashes
a triangle tuft appears. Then another
followed by a pair of feline eyes
Yellow and watching
Whoosh! Out of the ashes
the sooty creature comes
Tail flickering

Run amok the kitty does
Faster and faster,
it's legs blurring together and melt
Fur becomes foamy, meows into roars
Black into blue
A tide of water rushing forth

Down the mountainside
Rock erroding river
into round little stones

All the stones lay scattered
One by one, they float
up and up, until all
are in the air.
One by one, they move and disintegrate
You can't see them,
but feel them as the air

Blowing and breezy
Now it's gusting about
Higher above our heads
becoming fluffy in the sky

Clouds that grow so white,
They begin to fall to the ground
Flake by little white flake
Forming a large, cold blanket

White is everywhere
But slowly, snow turns green
And tiny blades surface
Until we are surrounded

One blade of grass grows taller
and taller
Until it gains leafy accessories
And grows to be
a single red tulip.
