Jewel Vixens and Alpha Canines in Tangled Trouble Part Three: Operation High Road

One last meeting was called to order. James was on edge but ready for action. "It's finally time to wage war on the castle and in the confusion defeat our enemies and rescue Emerald in an operation we've called High Road," Nicholas started.
"About damn time," stated the German Shepard.
"First Onyx and Granite will take down the spotlights on the main gate with the codes provided by General Clawfoot," Desmond continued. "Then with the help of the voice modulator, me and my girl will order Neyla's forces to attack."
"The rest except for Ruby and Stanley will then paraglide to the blimp and it will be used to get to the tower," Aquamarine concluded. "Me, Des, Nicholas, Topaz, Amethyst, and Bill will take care of that while the rest head to the oil rig for Emerald. The assault on the castle will undoubtedly draw any guards up there and if we free Inspector Vixen she's sure to clear out the Contessa. With that we can grab or get rid of anything in there like files. Let's get this thing started."

The eldest members went on while Shale, Rose, Mendoza, Alexander, Victoria, Ruby, and Stanley got ready with the getaway van. Onyx and Granite made it and began to type in the codes. "I hope to god that General guy told the truth or this could get nasty," said the vulpine. But it worked and the lights went out. These two then went out to the getaway van while Desmond ordered the attack on the castle. After that was taken care of the rest of the group managed to get on the blimp. As soon as that happened, they were attacked by guards in the vehicle. These guys were quickly taken care of.
Right as the tower was reached, those that needed to get there were off of the blimp before it went on to the oil rig. "Good luck!" Sapphire called to Nicholas and his group.
"And you as well!" he answered back. This little band went in through the same window that had been used before. Just in time to see the Contessa talking with the guards in the room.
"What!" the coyote exclaimed. "The mercenaries have breached the castle defenses! All of you go, defend this tower to the last one!" They left, leaving her alone with Inspector Vixen. "Don't worry my dear, I still have time to finish with your 'readjustment' before taking care of that Jewel Vixen member."
"Let me out of here and I'll readjust your face!" the other female snarled.
"Ready to crack at this?" Desmond asked Aquamarine on the barrier side.
"Let me at it," she responded.
It took a minute but the vixen got it, freeing the inspector from her bindings. She grabbed her gun that was on the table next to her. "Ah-ha!" the Contessa stated. "I've isolated the brain pattern… you and I are about to become the best of friends."
"Okay new best friend; paws up!" Carmelita ordered. "All the way!"
"My dear you really…" The coyote then noticed what had happened and ran for it.
"Come back here you evil witch!" the vixen yelled and chased after the enemy.
The rest of the group in here came out by busting down the barrier. "That female, always trying to resolve her problems with violence," Nicholas stated with a grin.
"Well let's see what's in here," Topaz commented. The group got what they needed before destroying the equipment in here.
"Seems you got ahead of me," went a familiar voice. The spies looked up to see Neyla. "Thanks for clearing out the Contessa… Nothing I did could pry her away from Carmelita."
"So I guess you never really betrayed us after all," Nicholas said.
"I had no choice. That coyote would have killed me. Luckily I wasn't going to give up on my partner. It was just going to take a matter of work. Now then I think we have unfinished business with her."
"Let's go Topaz, Amethyst, and Bill," stated the long haired male. "Let's follow her. Aqua and Des, get to the others in the van." These four followed the female tiger out of the tower while the other two made it safely. The officer lead the four spies throughout the area, trying to find the enemy. It wasn't until they got to a roof that they stopped to catch their breath.
"Where is she?" Bill asked, looking around. There were also pipes with opening tops here. Suddenly Neyla got thrown to the side by something. Looking up showed the Contessa, ready to fight.
"Right up here, Mr. Bill," the coyote stated dangerously. The two males and females got in a ready position with teeth bared.
Meanwhile James's group were on their way to the oil rig. Although they had to deal with enemy forces, what they didn't know as that the mercenaries were slowly making their way out there. Once close enough the spies descended down. They had to be careful as there were guards everywhere. "Where is she?!" the German Shepard asked.
"Should be up at one of the highest points," Sapphire stated. They then moved and up some flights of stairs. Then the fighting began. The group was spotted and retaliated with gun fire of their own. The Canines and Vixens began to make their way up but then stopped when they saw how many guards there were.
"Shit, I could kill for some back up right now," Jade growled.
"You're right, we need back up," James commented.
Paul then looked into the distance. "Hey wait a minute," he said. Everyone looked and could see the mercenaries coming in. "Is that?"
"I think so," Kane replied. He and James got grins on their faces. The new arrivals had made it and surrounded the enemy.
"I think they're on our side," said Sapphire. "Let's get this going!" The final fight here was on.
