Jewel Vixens and Alpha Canines in Tangled Trouble Part One: The Castle

It was time for a little payback. The Contessa, having escaped the group in the prison, was now hiding out in her castle estate. It was a well fortified gothic nightmare, that would make any spy run in terror. Terrible or not, that's where they were headed.
To sweeten the deal, the Canines and remaining Vixens learned the Contessa, who until recently was a secret member of The Klaww Gang, had Johnny at the oil rig right on the water by the estate and a certain female otter acting as two others in charge of her forces. Diamond had been able to dig up a lot of info on both of these people. Johnny, after loosing Emerald, had been trying to tracking her down. Although a few leads came up, none of it ledto her. Then the male had run into a few people who promised him Emerald if Johnny helped them out. And the guy was sold.
For the otter, it was the same one that had been with Ogel when he and the group met the first time. The female, named Amelia Blitz, was someone that had been trained before as an assassin and spy for World War II. But thanks to that wolf, she had been trained even further in the art of combat. The two had even gone further and formed a romantic relationship. While not married, and older than Onyx, this otter still had the looks and was quite strong.
News of the Contessa's corruption had spread to Interpol. Constable Neyla, who also revealed by Diamond, who suspected the Contessa and being closest to the case, was granted a cash allowance to hire an army of local mercenaries. It would seem that the group would be walking into a full scale war. And one that the female tiger would be sure to win to rescue her friend Carmelita. But they had to act now, before things went from bad to worse. And it may have already done so for Emerald.
The vixen stirred and then awoke. The female tried to move, but could only do so with her head. Her arms and legs were tied up. The female could see she was no longer in the prison, but an office like area. Her head turned to the left to finding Johnny standing there.
"Hi, finally awake?" he asked with a smirk.
The vixen could see him wearing the symbol for the Klaww Gang which had been seen at the other area before and that of the Nazi's. She realized in an instant the vulpine was a traitor and hadn't changed at all for the better; only for the worst. And the reason for joining up with scum like this was to get her. "You fucking bastard; I should've known you hadn't changed!" Emerald snarled at Johnny.
"How scary," he responded. "But that attitude of yours is going to change soon. Once the Contessa is finished with a certain vixen cop."
"You think I'll let her brainwash me?! NEVER!" The vixen tried to get out of her bindings, but there were keeping her well pinned. "And if you think James and the others won't find me they will!"
Johnny walked so he was on the female's right. "Having you here is not just to motivate that German Shepard boyfriend of yours here. It's um… Well it's actually more embarrassing than that." He let out a chuckle. "You're here as my… um…"
"Trophy!" Emerald spat into his face and a little spit got the vulpine in the face. He whipped it off with a smirk.
"Well for now. But soon you're going to be enjoying me at my side like we use to be. And as for James and the others… Well you're soon not going to be seeing them." The vulpine then walked off to prepare for the gang when they came.

Once a safe house had been established, Nicholas and Topaz went out first as usual. Upon reaching a certain point they got contacted by Aquamarine and Desmond.
"Okay here's the plan," stated the vixen with glasses into their communicators. "First, take some recon photos around the area then make your way up to the re-education tower."
"Looks… pleasant enough," Topaz replied with a gulp.
"Oh and stay clear of tanks," said Desmond. "You know, so you don't get blown up into little sticky pieces."
Nicholas and his girl went forward. They first took a pic of the HQ Neyla had set up in an old bank. There was also a blimp that made regular rounds to the tower and oil rig that was right by the estate. There were even tanks which showed the Contessa was geared up for war. With that finished, the two foxes made their way to the tower. The front door was locked from the outside which forced both to climb the long way up. But it was no problem for them. There was a window that after opening it led the vulpine and vixen in.
Nicholas and Topaz made it in next to an old computer terminal. They also saw some bars in front of them that acted as a barrier. Behind them was the Contessa at some kind of machine. Two guards were at the front door. And Carmelita was strapped to some kind of table, poised at an angle to be in the range of some machine which was clearly trying to hypnotize her. They could see she was resisting. "Hey guys?" Nicholas whispered. "There's more in here than we first thought."
"Why are you doing this?!" Carmelita snarled. "Neyla, she set me up. I'm an honest cop!"
"Of course you are," the Contessa responded. "I've read your psychological profile… I know that you're honest."
"Then why are you doing this to me?"
"Because dear… you're honest. You see, by chasing after the Jewel Vixens and Alpha Canines you learned too much about the Klaww Gang and its spice operation. It was only a matter of time before you figured out that I was a secret member. Just like Neyla did. So by threatening her life that tiger had no choice but to make sure you went into custody."
"So that's why she looked that way!" the vixen responded. "Coward! You're a disgrace to Interpol! I'll make it my life's work to destroy you!" Carmelita realized that Neyla hadn't set her up at all.
"Oh, I'm afraid your life, let alone your 'life's work' isn't' going to last much longer," the coyote replied. "Once I've finished preparations with this device your 'life's work' will be whatever I tell you."
"I won't be brainwashed that easily."
"Quite right, it won't be easy… or painless. But I will reprogram your mind and you will take the fall for me at Interpol. Then after that I have another hard headed vixen to take care of out on the oil rig. Now, just lay back and relax, go to your happy place and stay there forever."
"I don't think they've seen you," came Desmond's reply to Nicholas and Topaz. "Take a few photos and get out of there."
The two spies did so of the area and then it was back to the safe house. At least the news that Emerald hadn't been taken care of yet would be good new for James and put him at ease for now. When the German Shepard heard this, he breathed a little easier. At least there was enough time to rescue his girl. After that a meeting was called to order.

"The war between Neyla and the Contessa has put the castle on high alert," Aquamarine began. "To get at rescuing Carmelita and Emerald, we'll need to carefully manipulate this conflict to our advantage."
"Here's the plan," Desmond continued. "Sapphire and Kane, both of you will sneak in and kidnap the head of security. We want to ask him a few questions. Meanwhile Nicholas and Topaz will sneak into the crypts down below for further purposes. Meanwhile Aqua and I will create some paranormal effects for Neyla that are to be dropped into the HQ she's at. The near death experience will inspire her to purchase more mercenary fire power."
"We've all got the assignments," Nicholas concluded. "Good luck."

The white wolf and arctic vixen were out first. "God how creepy," she commented.
"Well what did you expect?" he asked.
The two then went forward, and even had to deal with a few guards before their target was spotted. It was a male bat and as soon as he had been spotted, the spies got contacted. "Hey you two," came Nicholas's voice. "Can you see the general from there?"
"If you mean that bat than yes," Sapphire replied. "But he looks old."
"Don't let his appearance fool you. That's General Clawfoot, and he's one of the toughest old soldiers you'll ever see… not to mention head of castle security."
"What if he doesn't want to come?" Kane asked. "It's best not to hurt him."
"Oh don't worry about that," Nicholas responded. "He's only afraid of two things; fire and water. Other than that, you couldn't hurt him if you wanted to."
The two spies then moved in and managed to get the General and bring him back to the safe house. It wasn't easy but they managed to do so. The second they did, a few of the members including Nicholas stepped out. "Well, well… General Clawfoot," stated the long haired vulpine. "We've got a lot to talk about. You wouldn't by chance happen to know the security codes to the castle gates?" He then turned to the others. "Let's see if a mother's anger or even James's will do the trick."
Those two did the trick and the information needed was obtained. Then Topaz and her boyfriend went out next to the crypts. They had been marked off for the spies. Getting in was easy but all of them were like death traps. But it was worth it since there were treasures in there and other items of interest. A few would be helpful for James to create a bomb for the device in the tower and Aqua and Des to create the effects needed for Neyla. There was even a tomb that apparently had some kind of wolf priestess inside. All the stuff was taken and brought back to the safe house. Then Nicholas and Topaz took what had been made by the vixen with glasses and her male to the bank where that tiger was operating from. It was a few bottles down the chimney. When broken they released fog along with spooky spectators.
The spies from the roof could see the female tiger emerge. "So the Contessa wants war, eh?" she asked. "Perhaps it's time I purchased a little air power; a few bombers should put that old charlatan in her place."
Nicholas and Topaz shook with silent laughter and gave the other a hi five. "She'll like never know what hit her!" the vixen stated.
"Yeah," went the vulpine. "Come on. I think we're ready for the next phase." The two quickly got to the safe house.
