So just one thing this time but I love how it came out.

Shine was directed out of the parlor by Nicholas. The staff was still on her back but he took care of the luggage. They emerged into the hallway and he took her by the entrance. The vixen saw the staircase going up which was quite the long flight of stairs. “You need any help?” she asked to him.
“Watch and learn,” the fosky replied with a smirk and held his paws up. Wind gathered around the luggage and was floated on that to the very top. He sent her a grin and started to climb. The female was right behind him.
Here on the second floor she saw a few different paths here. But the fosky took the vixen down one that ended at double doors. There was another to the left but both were richly designed. “Your room is right here,” he said, pointing to the second door. “That way at least you’ll be next door to mine in case something happens.”
The guy opened it and Shine gasped when she saw the inside. There was a gorgeous bed with fluffy white pillows and sheets that matched in a different color. There were a couple windows to let in the light that reflected off the walls and floor which were a light blue and pink color. There were plenty of dressers for clothes, both regular and fancy ones. There was even a place for Ish’s staff on the wall. There was a table with a big mirror on it for dressing and getting ready for the day. There were a few pictures on the wall of the sky during different times of the day that were all beautiful. The windows offered perfect views outside and could be opened. “Like it so far?” Nicholas asked, smiling to see Shine slowly walking forward and taking this all in.
“Oh my god…” she whispered. “I never thought I’d live in a room like this. I do. I really do.”
“Then you’ll like the bathroom. It’s through that door over there.”
The female noticed it next to a closest. The vixen went in and let out a laugh. “This is mine?” she stated. “This is more like a hotel bathroom!” This was due to the white surface it had, complete with fluffy white towels. There was a place for a bath along with a shower. Both were able to fit two species comfortably. The lighting in here was perfect and the mirror in front of the sink was large that would allow the female to get herself ready in the morning.
“All of this is yours starting now since you’ll be living here,” the fosky replied with a chuckle. In his head, he knew it would be this way for now until they became a couple. He could see it, being more than what they had now.
“I love it all!” Shine stated happily and flopped on the bed, front up. Even now, the vixen knew she could trust the male and wouldn’t mind if he took her here and now. She smiled at him but saw the guy was looking the other way.
“Nicholas, what’s wrong?” she asked, rising up to look at him.
“Oh! Sorry… I just thought you might like to unpack and change into some different clothes or something before I showed you the rest of the house.”
“No, we can see that,” the female replied, a little disappointment in her voice. “Just let me put the staff on the wall.”
The female did so, disappointed that nothing had happened, but figured it could wait. The first place was a quick look at his room. It was bigger and grander, but that was due to it being the ruler’s bedroom. Shine thought it had to be lonely to be alone in here. The bed was too big for a single person. Then it was onto the office where the rulers would take care of the tasks of running this city, but also affairs from the other seven cities that was near or at the point of one of the elements. “Will I get to see them?” she asked after Nicholas told her that.
“Maybe after a month here,” he replied. “I want you to get use to this place first.”
The final place upstairs was where she had seen the doors that went to the balcony. It was like a library with books here, but also a place to relax. Shine could see it; her and Nicholas watching the sunset from the balcony and holding paws. The guy then snapped her back to the present and took her down to the first floor. Here besides the parlor was the living room, dining room, and a small study. There was even a basement that was quite big, but not much was here. This was due to the previous rulers using this as a meeting/party place. The laundry room was located here though. Then it was back upstairs. “So then… now what?” Shine asked.
“For now, we’ll stay here tonight and tomorrow,” Nicholas answered. “Then I’ll show you around Loft Ereborn and have you meet some people. Trust me, after talking and seeing what you have so far, it will be best. This hasn’t been light by no means necessary.”
The vixen just nodded, knowing there would be plenty of time to see the city latter. “Yeah, I could actually do with the rest,” she replied, realizing that after this much excitement, going to bed early would be great.
The rest of the evening passed by without too much happening. The vixen learned that while most of the cleaning of the house happened once a week on Saturdays by others, the cooking and minor messes, plus the laundry fell onto Nicholas and Shine. The lunch had been prepared by others since he hadn’t been here the day before. But now that he was back, that meant cooking would need to be done by them. There was also only enough food to last until the day after tomorrow which meant a grocery shopping trip was needed. It would be the perfect area to start with showing Shine around Loft Erebron. As night settled in, Nicholas began to talk to the vixen a little about his past and memories he had here. This made the vixen do the same with him. Then the time for her to go to bed was one that would be the start of little moments for the two.
“Well… if you really want to sleep now, I won’t stop you,” he said while they stood outside the door to her room.
“I really need some sleep,” she replied. Both were blushing.
The fosky reached out and ran one finger down the vixen’s right cheek with a smile. “Well then… Goodnight Shine.”
“Goodnight,” the female whispered back and went inside. She fell asleep quickly and her dreams were all about Nicholas as it was with him dreaming about her.

The next day Nicholas had work to do but told Shine she could do whatever she wanted in the house. That was fine with her since the vixen had brought some things to do. Some of the books in the office caught her interest and she spent some of the time reading them, and learning a bit about the history and laws of this place. Even though Nicholas was working in here, the two were able to do what had to be done. They also talked and interacted during lunch and dinner. But in the afternoon, the female felt a needed for release and retreated to her bathroom to take care of it. She moaned and thought about Nicholas pleasing her in the bed that was now hers. Luckily he didn’t hear anything as not only was the bedroom a ways from the office, but the walls were thick. Even if the fosky had been next door, no noise would have reached his ears.
But then at last the day came for seeing Loft Ereborn. They started with breakfast and then it was out the door. “Mmmm!” Nicholas stated with a stretch and let out a breath while looking up to the sky. “It’s another great day again.”
“Yeah,” Shine agreed, wearing Ish’s staff on her back again. “So how will we get to the place for food?”
“We’ll take the back path. It’ll save time.”
The two began their walk. After going down some steps located on the side of the area the house was at, they came to a small path that had trees and a smooth road. “This was never fully finished,” the fosky explained to the vixen. “Even now the rulers prefer to keep it that way.”
Just a bit further ahead were more stairs that were going up. Shine just has wide eyes with a smile. Nicholas saw that and it made him happy that she clearly was enjoying herself. “It’s funny,” the female said. “I remember this path being here when I was Ish and Katar showed her this.”
“I figured you would. I do as well. Oh, here we go!”
Shine looked and saw that even though there had been a couple turns in the path, they had already reached the area they wanted to go. Nicholas brought out the map of Loft Ereborn again to show her. “We’re about to hit the main shopping area. For now we’ll only focus on the food shop today and maybe the bazar. The second place is where other items you may want or need are sold. The same goes for the other items store. There is a place for weapons and armor along with clothes, but we don’t need to worry about those places today. Also the final building here I’ll take you to latter.”
The two then made their way down a small slope and were right in the middle of the shopping area. Like before Shine saw the other species with their wings out but the avians. It was then a quick right and they were at the food place. The inside was large and colorful. “My god…” Shine whispered.
“Better stay close to me,” Nicholas said softly in her left ear. The vixen on instinct grabbed his arm. The two blushed when realizing what she had done.
“Sorry!” the vixen said in a rush, letting go of the fosky.
“It’s okay,” the male whispered before getting a smirk. “And I never told you to stop.”
Shine got a deep smile, sighing with happiness and took the fosky’s arm again. The two began to shop with the list had in his pocket. During the time, some of the shoppers stopped to say hi to him since they recognized the male. They also noticed Shine as well and introduced themselves. A couple of them even asked if the two were on a date, causing him but especially her to blush. “Sure, it is,” the guy replied to the second who asked them that. The person then walked away.
“So you think this is a date?” Shine stated to the male with a grin.
“Well we are alone and I’m showing you around, so yeah.” The female leaned up, playfully kissing his cheek.
The rest of the time went smoothly with the shopping for food. There was even a place to eat the food served at the deli/café section of the store. The two quickly went back to the house and put the groceries away before returning to eat lunch there. Nicholas pulled the map out during this and showed where they would head to next today. It was a place where the swim hole, the park, and farming area was located. The food was consumed and then it was onto that area. The rest of the shops in the district area would be looked at latter. While the power and sewage control center was also here, there wasn’t a need to look into that.
“Well here we are,” Nicholas told Shine when they got to the next destination. “We can walk the park somewhat but the first places I wanted you to look at.”
Shine saw the crops area and saw many vegetables and fruits of all kinds being grown, some out in the open, others in greenhouses. But it was the swimming area that got her attention. It was big enough for swimming with section like a pool, but other parts that were much deeper. According to Nicholas, that was where some of the fish that the city ate. Seafood came from the other cities and areas. Then it was onto the park. While there were places for the kids to play and normal paths, there were flower areas and even a Japanese/Chinese inspired like area complete with pounds.
“Wow… this is beautiful to,” the vixen said. “All of it is.” She was still holding onto Nicholas’s arm even if they weren’t in as crowded of an area.
“Do you feel at home yet?” he asked.
“Almost…”
“I say!” stated a voice with an English accent. “You there!”
The vixen and fosky jumped but then he got a smile. “Should’ve known,” the long-haired male said. He looked up to see a male snowy owl with jade colored eyes up in a tree. He came down on his wings and landed in front of the two. “You certainly knew how to get in high places Cyrus.”
Shine saw Nicholas knew this person quiet well and let go of his arm so the fosky and the avian could bump wing to fist. “Damn you look good,” the owl stated. “You look younger like me actually.”
“I went through that particular tube so that’s why.”
“Makes sense.” Cyrus then noticed Shine and his eyebrows went up.
“Oh yes. Shine, come over here. I want to introduce you to one of my friends. This is Cyrus.”
“Nice to meet you,” the owl replied and held out his right wing.
“Same,” the vixen said and they shook.
“I heard you were back with a guest, but I didn’t expect this,” Cyrus commented to Nicholas.
“You can come by my house latter and we’ll talk about it,” the fosky said.
“Oh, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be interrupting your date with your girlfriend.”
“Well… she’s not really,” the first male stated.
“Yeah… we’re not like that,” Shine agreed.
“Yet…” the two thought in their heads.
“Well I can certainly catch up with you latter,” Cyrus said. “I just thought I’d say hi since it’s been awhile. Latter!” He took off on his wings.
“Well he seems nice,” the vixen commented, taking Nicholas’s arm again.
“Yeah, you’ll see him quite a bit,” the male said. “Shall we continue?”
The two did so and the rest of the afternoon was spent in a magical moment of talking and laughing. Nobody notice Shine’s staff as it was in its sealed form and wouldn’t draw attention. They had dinner back at the house. After the long day of exploring like this, they didn’t do that much. Once again, he and her stopped by the door to her room. “So then… tomorrow we’ll see some of the other important places. Then if you’re up to it, we can meet some other people I’d like you to meet.”
“I can do that,” the vixen replied. “Thank you so much for showing me around so far. I had a fun time.”
Nicholas nodded and kissed her on the cheek which caught Shine by surprise. “That’s for what you did earlier,” he stated with a smirk. “Good night Shine.”
“Good night…” She watched him walk into his room, one paw a bit out as though to reach the male. That night Shine did another release unware the male was doing so as well. They fell asleep again very happy and easily.
The following day, the two made their way to where the school, library, justice hall, museum, and doctors were located. The last building was wear haircuts and the dentist were. The school not only served as one for the regular kindergarten through the 12th grade, but also a college to. The museum also had art in it as well. The justice hall was also where the jail, police force, and firefighters were as well. Shine had no interest in that so it was then onto the last area; the homes and guest housing area. Nicholas took her down a few of the streets while also passing the old folks home. The vixen would meet the previous rulers there soon.
They then stopped at one of the houses. “This is it, my parents are inside,” Nicholas stated.
“This looks lovely to,” Shine said.
They went up to the doorbell and he rang it. The guy had called beforehand so the folks inside knew of his coming and of bringing the vixen with him. The door opened and Shine saw a vixen who was about her height but looked so much like Nicholas in terms of fur color and even the hair color. Her green wings were the same with Nicholas’s but missing the black. The only other difference was her eyes were jade colored. “Mom, I’m home,” he said.
The mother vixen and son came in for a hug. “Oh, it’s so good to see you,” she whispered. “You’ve gone through that tunnel to.”
“It was necessary.” The two then pulled back. “Mother… I’ve brought her as well. I’d like you to meet Shine. Shine, this is my mother Linden.”
The older female looked at the blonde one and a smile came on her face to see the younger one, who while absolutely beautiful, looked like a sweet and kind vixen. “It’s nice to meet you,” Linden stated and she and Shine shook paws. “My son’s told a lot about you.”
“Not that much,” he stated, rubbing the back of his neck and blushing.
“Well come on in.” The two were led inside. The house was just as nice as the outside looked. They were taken to the living room. There a husky with his son’s eyes and the same height was waiting for them and black wings. He got up to hug the fosky.
“Damn son, you look well.”
“Thanks dad.” The two pulled back and the older male noticed Shine.
“Hello miss, you must be Shine that I heard about from my son,” the husky said. “I’m Vincent.”
“Yes, hello,” the vixen replied and the two shook paws.
The four then sat down and began to talk. It was mostly to what the guy had been up to. But nothing with what had happened at the temple or what the two now knew was talked about. The younger vixen did learn a bit more as to what Nicholas had been like as a younger fosky and that he even had a younger brother. The sibling hadn’t been able to make due to having a life. A couple of hours later, she and Nicholas left. “Your parents were nice,” the female told him. “I liked them a lot.”
“They did with you as well,” he commented.
“So then… what’s left?”
“Well the rulers can wait. For now, we have to get started on the next part tomorrow. And that’s teaching you how to wield that staff like Ish did and combat.” The vixen got a frown and the fosky placed one paw on her left shoulder. “Don’t worry. Her spirit lives in you. She was like that when Katar first taught her, but Ish learned. If she can, you can to. We’ll begin tomorrow, oaky?” The female nodded and the two continued back to his house, talking along the way. Shine would learn quickly just what was going to be expected of her.

Once again, he and her stopped by the door to her room. “So then… tomorrow we’ll see some of the other important places. Then if you’re up to it, we can meet some other people I’d like you to meet.”
“I can do that,” the vixen replied. “Thank you so much for showing me around so far. I had a fun time.”
Nicholas nodded and kissed her on the cheek which caught Shine by surprise. “That’s for what you did earlier,” he stated with a smirk. “Good night Shine.”
“Good night…” She watched him walk into his room, one paw a bit out as though to reach the male. That night Shine did another release unware the male was doing so as well. They fell asleep again very happy and easily.
The following day, the two made their way to where the school, library, justice hall, museum, and doctors were located. The last building was wear haircuts and the dentist were. The school not only served as one for the regular kindergarten through the 12th grade, but also a college to. The museum also had art in it as well. The justice hall was also where the jail, police force, and firefighters were as well. Shine had no interest in that so it was then onto the last area; the homes and guest housing area. Nicholas took her down a few of the streets while also passing the old folks home. The vixen would meet the previous rulers there soon.
They then stopped at one of the houses. “This is it, my parents are inside,” Nicholas stated.
“This looks lovely to,” Shine said.
They went up to the doorbell and he rang it. The guy had called beforehand so the folks inside knew of his coming and of bringing the vixen with him. The door opened and Shine saw a vixen who was about her height but looked so much like Nicholas in terms of fur color and even the hair color. Her green wings were the same with Nicholas’s but missing the black. The only other difference was her eyes were jade colored. “Mom, I’m home,” he said.
The mother vixen and son came in for a hug. “Oh, it’s so good to see you,” she whispered. “You’ve gone through that tunnel to.”
“It was necessary.” The two then pulled back. “Mother… I’ve brought her as well. I’d like you to meet Shine. Shine, this is my mother Linden.”
The older female looked at the blonde one and a smile came on her face to see the younger one, who while absolutely beautiful, looked like a sweet and kind vixen. “It’s nice to meet you,” Linden stated and she and Shine shook paws. “My son’s told a lot about you.”
“Not that much,” he stated, rubbing the back of his neck and blushing.
“Well come on in.” The two were led inside. The house was just as nice as the outside looked. They were taken to the living room. There a husky with his son’s eyes and the same height was waiting for them and black wings. He got up to hug the fosky.
“Damn son, you look well.”
“Thanks dad.” The two pulled back and the older male noticed Shine.
“Hello miss, you must be Shine that I heard about from my son,” the husky said. “I’m Vincent.”
“Yes, hello,” the vixen replied and the two shook paws.
The four then sat down and began to talk. It was mostly to what the guy had been up to. But nothing with what had happened at the temple or what the two now knew was talked about. The younger vixen did learn a bit more as to what Nicholas had been like as a younger fosky and that he even had a younger brother. The sibling hadn’t been able to make due to having a life. A couple of hours later, she and Nicholas left. “Your parents were nice,” the female told him. “I liked them a lot.”
“They did with you as well,” he commented.
“So then… what’s left?”
“Well the rulers can wait. For now, we have to get started on the next part tomorrow. And that’s teaching you how to wield that staff like Ish did and combat.” The vixen got a frown and the fosky placed one paw on her left shoulder. “Don’t worry. Her spirit lives in you. She was like that when Katar first taught her, but Ish learned. If she can, you can to. We’ll begin tomorrow, oaky?” The female nodded and the two continued back to his house, talking along the way. Shine would learn quickly just what was going to be expected of her.
