Jewel Vixens and Alpha Canines in Cold Hearts of Hate part 3: The Goo Caverns

The group was on it's way in the train. Next stop was the Good Caverns. It was found out that Ruby, Stanley, Amethyst, Bill, Aquamarine, and Desmond were trapped somewhere inside. The goal was to rescue them and then shut off the main power. It wasn't too much longer before the vehicle made its stop and everyone got out.
They could see that they were in some kind of cavern. Below them was some kind of purple colored goo. Luckily there were platforms to get across it to the other side. As usual there was a huge skull that acted as a door. Looking at the far end they could see it would only open by hitting four locks this time. There were barrels as well in here.
"Hmm… So what now?" asked Granite.
"Well let's see if we can't get across first," stated Nicholas. He turned to Sapphire. "You okay?"
"Oh!" the vixen stated, coming out of her thoughts. "Yes." In reality it had been the disappointment that neither Kane or her father was here. But especially the white wolf. The Arctic fox had to find the lupine. It was the only way to make things right with him.
"Hey don't look now, but I think we're being watched," growled Emerald. Everyone looked where she was looking at and could see an observation platform above them. And the Evil Blue Dude was there.

"So you've managed to hitch a ride on my Trouble Train," the jungle cat commented. "Fitting for the leeches that you are! Oh, where are my manners? Now that you're here, make yourselves… uncomfortable." He let out a laugh. "Get it? I said uncomfortable instead of comfortable like people always say. I changed it." The feline then left the room.
"So that was him," commented Sapphire with a glare. "The one who's in charge."
"For one of the organizations," said Topaz.
"Let's forget him," stated James. "And find the others."

The group went forward and found that the new locks weren't too much trouble at all. In certain rooms they did find a few big machines. However these weren't a cause for alarm. That is until they came across a room that had actual lava underneath the platforms and a huge drill in the middle of the room.
"Wait… is that…?" asked Onyx.
"Oh yeah, it's lava alright," stated James. "Better watch your step this time."
"They're like crazy!" Topaz exclaimed and grabbed Nicholas's right arm. "What are they thinking?!"
"Well we're quite far underground," her boyfriend explained. "I'm not surprised in the least by this. But man, it's getting hot. Hotter then hell."
"Let's not worry about it and keep moving," said Sapphire.
The group did so and after a few more rooms they found Ruby. She was certainly glad to see her friends and anxious to get out. Especially when after that the vixen from Texas learned her Stanley was in this place as well. In addition just like with everyone else that had been freed so far, Ruby had her weapons. Most likely because even with it the female couldn't reach the switch that was linked to her cage.
Some rooms latter found the driver for the Canines, also with his weapons and doing well. His love took it upon herself to free the vulpine while everyone else took care of the rest of the things need. He of course managed to get the door open. And when both him and Ruby were reunited it was like it had been for Emerald and James. A little bit more, but not as extreme as Nicholas and Topaz.
While on the way both foxes were filled in on what had been found out. The news was a big shock to them but they quickly got over it. After all the next members had to be rescued. And it wasn't long before Amethyst was found. As soon as the purple haired vixen saw who it was, she jumped up in shock.

"You guys!" the female stated.
"Just hold on tight!" Emerald shouted. "We'll get you out!"
The rest of the group went forward to take care of any guards or problems. All so Topaz could reach the switch. The blonde haired vixen had taken it upon herself to rescue this member and have even told them this. There was a bit of ground for the youngest to cover, but managed to get there in the end. The switch was pulled.
Amethyst quickly was out and had hit the plunger lock to open the door. She looked at the group but didn't see Bill with them. The vixen figured he must be up farther ahead. Quickly going into the next room after being told what was going on showed the Canines and Vixens that this place had changed again. This time there was actual green goo, but the still had the looks of a cavern. Just as they were about to go forward, they saw the Evil Blue Dud in an observation booth. Although the jungle cat looked calm, they could see he was getting frustrated and angry.

"I love it!" stated the feline. "Well done. Bravicimo. Unfortunately now I've had to go and change the locks again. I've been training some new guards as well. Enjoy yourselves. It's almost a shame that you will be trapped here forever." Giggling the enemy left.

The others in the meantime just kept fighting their way through. They could see workers moving stuff on platforms next to the ones they were on. At times these would turn into tubes that took things to another part of this base. As for the locks this time they were combination ones which required one to open. Luckily Topaz and Nicholas were able to break these easily. It didn't take many more rooms before Bill was found. Amethyst took it upon herself to rescue him or at least get the switch that was connected to his cage. After breaking out the husky got the switch before being reunited with his girlfriend and the others. Which meant that only Aquamarine and Desmond were left in this place.
The next vixen was found very quickly. Although a bit scared, Aquamarine wasn't as scared as the last time she had been in a cell when the Vixens had first met. That because the one with glasses knew there would be a rescue. However she was disappointed her boyfriend Desmond wasn't with the group. But was promised that he was the next one up. Finally after five more rooms the gang found the main power supply and the manned wolf. They could see water and a sub was at one end of the room. Boxes were being loaded onto it. Desmond was the closet to reach the main power supply. There were guards here but that wouldn't' take too long to get them out of the way.
"Okay, I'm going to get Desmond," stated Aquamarine. "You guys take care of the rest."
"Then let's move," said Nicholas.

Everyone then moved. Aquamarine ran for her life as the rest of the group took care of the rest of the problems. Making it easier for the vixen with glasses and taking out the guards. Desmond heard the commotion and looked up. To his shock he saw the team. And his girl running towards the switch to get him free. It didn't take long and soon all the guards were out of commission. Aquamarine made it to the switch and turned off the electricity in the cage. The Manned Wolf ran out of the door to it and down the sub since his cage had been near the end of it. The male made it to the plunger lock and activated it. The sub instantly came to life and the boxes that had been coming onto it stopped. Everyone quickly met each other at the vehicle. This base had been cleared with no problem at all. Desmond was the first to the vixen he was dating (Music stops)
"Great job everyone," said Sapphire. "Now there's just one base left."
"I'm ready for action," commented Ruby.
"Yes but it will be the hardest we've done," Stanley stated.
"We're the Alpha Canines and Jewel Vixens," said Aquamarine. "We've got what it takes to get the rest of our friends and save the world."
"Well spoken lassie," commented Onyx. "So we ready?"
"Yippie kai yay mother fucker," stated Nicholas with a grin and everyone got on the sub. Along the way the rest who didn't know what was going on was caught up.
